Good product, durable, a bit hard to peel

You're supposed to be able to peel away the paper these are wrapped in as the charcoal wears down. The paper on these doesn't peel down, it just tears off so you have to get a knife and carve down to the charcoal, just like with a wooden pencil.

Great charcoal itself, but IMPOSSIBLE to unwind the paper covering! When done slowly, the paper never comes off clean, and when you eventually get the paper off (using a razor to pre-score it), the charcoal breaks off. Never again.
