Tiling and used this to figure out the angles. But it did come apart and I had to finagle with it to put it back together.

I have quite a few gadget tools. I buy them hoping they will make tedious tasks a little easier... like when I'm laying LVP or laminate flooring and I have to make a cut... or multiple cuts... to accommodate something like a door jamb, toilet flange, 100 year old trim that I won't dare try to remove... etc... With each new gadget tool I hope that MAYBE this one will work as advertised....If you have patience and time... meaning you're not getting paid by the square foot where time equals your paycheck .... I'm sure this would work. Actual real world use on a job site... this was just to flimsy and it took too long to adjust and tighten the tiny adjusting screws tight enough so it wouldn't slip out of adjustment when pressing it tight against a wall... It absolutely did not perform with lightning speed and efficiency as you see in the videos. I'm not saying it doesn't work... if you have time to monkey with it and have more patience than Job... (Job from the Bible)....

This one works better then any I've used in the last 35 yrs. Even on rough and irregular shapes I was able to trace an exact scribe line!

This tool was a huge help with my crown moulding. I needed a special cut on a wall panel and this made it work out better than I thought. It took a bit to get used to and the pencil holder didn’t hold well at first, but after I worked on using it and played with it a bit, it made it to my wall of needed items of the house! Good price for what you receive and quality is okayWorth the purchase when you need a special tool for a special job
