This secondary security locking device provides additional, increased home safety for sliding patio doors. It can also be placed out of reach of children, high on a door, so they cannot open the door themselves and enter or exit into dangerous areas. This door loop lock is constructed of a nickel plated hardened steel locking rod with a diecast bracket and keeper with a chrome plated finish. It’s strong and durable, sure to last, and installation is quick and easy. All installation fasteners are included, and it is designed to secure to door to the jamb. Exercise caution when mounting on glass panel doors not to damage your glass panel.

Bought for sliding patio doors has extra lock security works perfectly in installation very easy under five minutes. One person needed to install. It’s always nice to have an Additional lock and sliding glass doors for the price it can’t be beat. You can find it in your local hardware store, but by the time you spend money on gas to go to the store, you can have it delivered for the same amount amount or less highly recommend this item.

I used the lock to child proof my screen sliding door. My 18 month old grand-daughter figured out how to open the door. This lock was easy to install and works perfect to lock the door.

Most sliding doors can be broken in relatively easy however with this added lock it will now be a challenge for someone to break in. These locks are made of heavy duty material that will last for many years. There are directions and they are written well. Total installation time was 15 mins, just make sure that you get a new drill bit to drill the screw holes and be very careful when drilling on the glass side if the door. Make sure that you’re far away from the glass to avoid breakages. We are very pleased with these locks!

Had bought a different type of latch and it didn’t work, this one worked perfectly! Easy install, I needed to find a more secure way to keep my pup from opening up the sliding door, and this definitely worked out well, just make sure u pre drill the hole for the screw because you can break the screw and then have to find a way to hide it behind the latch.

Brilliant piece of engineering, some one really thought it out. We live in the UK and discovered these in the US, they work really well on ordinary doors that open outwards. Being stainless steel they look good and are extremely strong. We used them on connecting house to garage door and house to conservatory doors. They are easy to fit and reasonably priced. Well done Prime-Line. Oh and they arrived speedily from the US to UK.
