I originally purchased this net about 6 years ago for my FL in-ground pool. I've used it about twice per month to scoop up larger debris like Palm fronds before setting my robot vacuum loose.The net worked fine, but the plastic rim eventually cracked and it completely fell apart about a week ago. Looking to buy a replacement, I checked my order history here to see what I bought. I was happy to "rediscover" that my net had a lifetime warranty!Better yet, the warranty service is actually as easy as stated. I used the warranty link on the ProTuff website, entered my Amazon order # and my address, and that was all I needed to do. It really did take about 2 minutes. I got an email saying a replacement would be sent out shortly.My new pool net arrived 3 days later. And I was VERY happy to see that it's been improved. Most importantly, the plastic rim is thicker and much sturdier. The net seems a bit sturdier too, and it has a zipper for easy replacement. The plastic rim can also be removed and replaced separately (unlike my first net), which all makes sense for more cost-effective warranty service.This net requires a bit of easy assembly. Just remove the 2 zip ties holding the frame tight, attach the bracket (2 sides and a sleeve fit over the ends of the metal frame, then 3 screws to secure), and it's ready to use. NOTE: Don't cut the zip ties; they are reusable, with a small nub that releases the strip when pushed. A few extra ones are provided too (just for personal use), and I will be using them for luggage, etc.The new net works fine, and seems a bit smoother than my original. This could be due to the thicker, wider plastic rim. I'm pretty sure it will last longer than my first one, and the real lifetime warranty means I won't need to buy a new one down the road.For quality, sturdiness, and warranty, this net is definitely a great deal compared to the cheaper nets I looked at. Highly recommended.

I purchased this item in October 2017 after trying several other products. I was interested in the lifetime warranty. I can tell you, it is a quality product. The netting is fine enough to gather a lot of small debris when using it to skim. It is super sturdy and I've pulled pounds of leaves off the bottom of the pool. I write this review after using it for 6 years and needing to replace it because the plastic around the net opening started to crack and I didn't want to scuff up my plaster. The netting is still going strong but the constant exposure to sun had caused the plastic to fade and crack and finally a piece broke off. The net is still functional but I just resurfaced my pool and didn't want to scratch the new plaster so I requested a replacement. I expected to have to send a photo or some documentation of the damage but No, easy warranty replacement and it came quickly. I highly recommend this product and noted today that the current price has only increased by $5 since 2017 - so well worth the money with a true lifetime warranty.

We love this pool net! Excellent value for money, great quality and easy to use. Perfect size for cleaning any size pool!

UPDATE 8/8/23This net has performed perfectly since 2019. I mentioned earlier, I don't store the 16' pole, nor the 20" net outdoors, where the sun can get at them. Still, the net just received a mystery tear near the bottom stitching. Nothing earth shattering but pool junk could get through the little hole. I remembered this company's warranty, so I went to their website and found they now require product registration, in order to qualify for all refunds/replacements. I'm thinking this weeds out fraudulent claims, if you can't produce the Amazon order (I don't think it involves selling info) but again, no problem. I have my own company and I'd so the same, if I had the best warranty on earth! You can see where I'm going with this, these truly are lifetime purchases AND I would have purchased without the warranty they offer. These are commercial grade products, something I appreciate and I hope you'll feel the same. I've never been approached for a testimonial, this is my way of saying thanks for outstanding products (and warranties). So don't sit on the fence, just buy their products, you can't go wrong.We purchased this net on 12/10/19 and the net's always been in perfect condition. When not in use, it's stored in the pool locker, so it's out of sunlight and the elements. After returning from vacation, I noticed several small rips in the fabric, enough of a rip that small particles could float back out and into the pool. I do ALL of my own pool maintenance but I entrusted a neighbor to take care of the pool, in our absence. I don't know what she did but the net was ripped (and I wasn't about to ask).We remembered the reason for this purchase, was the outstanding warranty and like many other reviewers, thought this might be a scam. I mean really, it's the only seller I've ever seen that makes this kind of statement and even if they did honor the warranty, it probably comes with tons of "gotcha" catches, or they want all kinds of private info and contact numbers, etc. Nope, just a couple of easy questions and a request to not have them expedite the net (if you can hold on to your sea horses)! So, it's on the way. I'm so impressed and our 16' pro pool pole just arrived an hour ago! That also comes with the same warranty. Keep up the good work and thanks for having the best warranty in the industry. I do believe, these will be our last purchases for this type of equipment.......WELL DONE!UPDATE 1/10/22: Not only did they replace the net, they sent the whole package (brand new) frame and all! I wanted to ask for the frame too but thought that would be bad form. Nice to see they took it upon themselves to replace the ENTIRE purchase......wow! I'm not a review writer but this company has exceptional warranty service and I know a good warranty when I see one. I like their products so much, I purchased the Ultimate Series 16' Pool Pole, while waiting for the net replacement. You can read my post there, as well. Great skimmer; very strong, lighter, and easier to manage than our previous one. Worth the price!

The wide mouth does make for faster cleaning. However I did not anticipate the extra drag that would create.The lip is a little more challenging, it does not pick up as much directly from the bottom of my pool like my other net did when I push it across the bottom of the pool. I will keep this net but add another smaller one as well.

I have been very pleased with this net. It is strong, the shape cleans our koi pond very well and the mesh size is perfect for cleaning out the algae and sludge from the bottom. It also empties out far easier than I expected. A GREAT product. I use it a lot and it has made a big difference in our pond.

Overall this skimmer net works great. I like the fact that it is clear so that you can see leaves and debris floating underneath the water. My previous skimmer net was white and I found it harder to capture this type if material. It also glides through the water with medium resistance, which is good based on the small size of the openings in the net (i.e. for silt). I also find their warranty very impressive. The only negative comment is that I find the depth of the net to be a little small. This means you have to empty it more often. If you try to collect too much debris it just spills over into the pool. Another 2"-3" would be ideal.

Super well made, quality is amazing. Sinuses to buy one every season and this one is still as good as new after 3 seasons.
