I recently installed the PUREPLUS 5 Micron 10" x 4.5" Whole House Sediment and Carbon Water Filter Replacement Cartridge, and it has been fantastic. This filter fits perfectly in my GE whole house water system and has done a great job in improving the quality of our water.The 5-micron filtration is just what we needed to remove sediments and improve the taste and clarity of the water throughout the house. I’ve used the first one for a year. No problems. No difference from the name brand filter my plumber originally installed when they put in the whole house filter system. Just based on time, I’m replacing it with the second one tomorrow. I’m buying the next set right now.

Very long lasting and does the job...entirely. I can't control what comes to my house, but this filter effectively removes it all.

I am on well water and I have been battling what I would call a "lake water smell" not bad but not pleasant. After adding UV light, adjusting salt etc nothing worked. I decided to try these filters. Wow! Smell is gone completely, water tastes crisp and clean. Water is very clear. So far I am very pleased. I would definitely buy more when the time comes.

Good price compare to the other higher priced ones. This one does the work too. Need to replace it often anyways. Quite happy there are options on Amazon.
