I got these to replace a cheap slider switch on a toy locomotive. Required considerable remodeling of the switch attachment on the engine, but the function and appearance were much appreciated by my grandson.

I was using this to repair a broken switch on a light. I’m not very skilled with electrical work, but I was able to solder the wires onto it and it is working perfectly! The button clicks into the “on†position, it does not need to be held.

So I'm using this on my motorcycle and I went to Soldier the wires on the terminal and the connector was bad so I did another one same thing it was bad so I soldered the terminals and I tested before I solder the wires and turns out that these buttons cannot handle the heat of a soldering iron the instant you solder the terminals the buttons pop they're done so note but they are very sturdy I tried taking one apart they're very strong

Have lots of experience with varies types of switches, for a non-industrial line of switches this pick is high quality and a robust design at that!

Very nice little switch. Easy to install, the solder lugs are an easy size to work with. I've read other reviewers state the switch burned up while soldering... I'm guessing it's either technique or the iron is too hot and in contact for too long. I've used several and even re-flowed one of the switches with no issues. Nice solid detent click, and the o-ring is a nice touch for a very clean install.

I was looking for exactly this sort of switch. Could use the same form factor in a non-latching switch. Will definitely reorder theses in all black.

I installed all of them and only 3 out of 5 worked.
