Used this kit to rewire a vintage hanging lamp. We didn’t need all the pieces obviously, but it contained everything we did need. The color of cord is very nice and neutral, and still keeps the vintage feel. So glad it helped bring an old statement piece back to life.

Arrived quickly and had all parts as listed, actually more than I needed. Was easy to use, although the directions were a bit vague. Helped me bring an antique lamp back to life. Very happy with this purchase

The kit came with a good cord and the metal for the lamp housing was thick enough to not just bend when working with it. The ends of the cord are tinned so that makes wiring easy. I didn't realize it came with some of the parts it did so that was a nice surprise. Overall, very pleased and recommend.

Takes a third of a second when you first turn it on . But you get used to it . Works well but I just needed it for a table lamp it's kind of made for a tall floor lamp. so a little long on the cord. But that's okay with me. Better than too short.

Not sure how I feel about a piece of cardboard as the “insulator†between the wires and the body - seems a little questionable. The pressure fit method of holding the two body components together is pretty iffy also. Would not buy again, but with some finesse, it worked.

our lamp socket had came loose perhaps after moving and it kind of got scary to reach in there and twist it on and off not being able to see and knowing there can be some exposed wires. so we were just unplugging it for a long time. this was the proper fix, we didnt even need all the stuff it came with and its pretty affordable but i forget exactly the price we paid. the color is a kind of matte gold which worked for our lamp but we could have just kept the old cord too. i think i earned some handyman points so it was well worth it the bit of work. i think i like the lamp more now that i spent time fixing it and i dont have to plug/ unplug it to turn it on.
