I use these with canister lights in a ceiling where I use motion-sensing bulbs. Adding these allowed the bulbs to peek out below the canister so that the motion sensor was barely below the ceiling line. They work perfectly for this and allow me to have the lights come on when someone comes onto my front porch at night.

The cost was very reasonable. The printing on the instructions font should be a lot bigger almost impossible to read with my readers. Once I got it set up I was very impressed with the mobility of being able to cover the whole front yard and the street. Keep in mind if you put it in a glass casing like I did you won’t be able to use the night lights as they just reflect back into the camera. The lighting has been fine anyway so that hasn’t been a concern. I have to be honest I found it came from China and that worried me but it still arrived in a reasonable time .

I had some specialized flicker bulbs that don't fit into my standard (Halo) downlight fixture because they are too wide and prevent the light bulb threads from screwing into the socket. These little extenders fit the bill perfectly and allow very wide or odd-shaped bulbs to utilize the fixture without any additional modification. Very useful.

Well designed and easy to install.I bought these extensions so I could install modern LED floodlights into an existing outdoor light fixture. The new floodlights were shorter than the old incandescent lights , and would not fit. The extensions allowed the new lights to fit.I didn't know these extensions existed until I searched for them.They say indoor use only, but are so deeply recessed in the fixture, they're protected from the weather. No problem so far.
