Availability and value are just the right size to adapt barrel options. I only wish the drill bit size was known to make everything easier and useful. Tool quality will test the durability and ease of use with time and use.

Worked well for the one hole I needed to tap, probably won't last for too many uses, but it tapped stainless steel fine, and I only needed once, so for the price it worked fine.

if you want to thread an oil filter to make a solvent trap for your 1/2x28 device, this will work. I haven' yet figured out how to thread devices as I think they will need some milling for the die to fit.

My tools came with a layer of rust already formed, tool still worked well after I removed the rust.
