The RAB Lighting LOS2500 occupancy sensor has been in the market for a long time and has proven to be excellent in every respect. I bought this one to replaces a RAB LOS2500 sensor that finally failed after about 10-15 years. My application is a church with back to back women's and men's restrooms. Simple and easy to install in a ceiling single gang electrical junction box. 3 controls under the dome cover enable setting sensitivity, duration and "photo". This devices helps save electricity costs because it turns light on when you enter a room and turns them off again when a person leaves. 5 STATS.

have had this installed for over 6 months, works EXACTLY as I had intended. Powers up 6, 4 foot shop lights in my garage when I open the door, have had no problems with it turning on or off as it should. Possibly bulkier than other options on the market, but this one is a fraction of the cost. Clear easy to follow directions for install and configuration as you choose. I have mine to turn off after 10 minutes. You can turn it down as low as 3 minutes if I remember. sensitivity was easy to set as well. this does NOT turn on when I open my roll up door (the sensor is toward the front of my garage) but as soon as a person crosses the threshold it clicks on. To me this is perfect so even with the roll up open, the lights dont remain on all day if I'm working in the yard. I have some other projects I may purchase more for.

My builder put this in my home, I have had to replace it 3 times, the last one I bought in April of 2024, it has stayed in the on mode for 2 months and I'm finally giving in and buying another one, they only work for about 6 month and then you have to replace them. If they stay in the off position you replace them sooner cause you get tired of not having any light, if they stay in the on position you end up replacing it but it takes longer to annoy you. These are not worth purchasing at $60 bucks a pop. Just easier to replace since they are hardwired into my homes electrical system. If they were not I'd stay away.

Works great. Have installed in breezeway, closet and laundry room. Only challenge is that "tuning" the on/ off takes a bit of time to get right and a little goes a long way when you make the adjustment ( sensitivity and duration adjustments). The other issues is that Rab should put "keeper" washers on the mounting bolts so they don't fall out when mounting vertically. You'll see what I mean when you install one. Plan on using a magnetic screwdriver or you will lose your mind.

I installed this product in my garage over 18 months ago. When entering it turns on the light reasonably effectively. Sometimes it turns on the light almost instantly and on other occasions there is a second or two delay. I believe the sensor checks for movement every couple of seconds and if you catch it just after it's checked there is the delay. I understand that and it's not really a problem. However there is something that I do consider a problem. If you are moving only slightly for say a couple of minutes the sensor will turn off the light. Then even an arm wave takes a while to reactivate the light. I would rate the product with 5 starts except for that issue.
