They work very well I wish/ thought the handles screwed into the binders but they don't they just slip in. But the binders work well and good quality for the money

You may have to excuse my gushing over these chain binders because for years I have struggled with a pair of rusty chain binders that lock up and fail to release or fail to ratchet on... all at the worst possible moments of course. So, opening up this set is almost like the heavens opened up and a beam of light shined down onto them... they glowed and I basked in their glory. OK... after the glow wore off I examined them. I like the fact that the handle is somewhat padded, which makes ratcheting it down a bit easier. The rachet action is very smooth. The entire thing is well-machined and the parts fit together nicely. Meet DOT requirements but keep in mind the load capacity. Other than that I am just so stoked that they are not rusty pieces of junk,

These binders were very heavy duty and exactly what I needed. Many I have seen cost quite a bit more, although these were still more expensive than I thought they should cost. You can find them a bit cheaper if you spend a lot of time online, but I needed these in a hurry.

Bought them to have the removable handle, wish that fit a bit tighter so it was easier to tighten. Also black rubber on the main barrel spins making it difficult to tighten quickly. Overall good for what I needed and would buy again.

These are very robust, thick, and heavy. Not sure how well they might hold up to elements or how durable they will be over time, but for now I am pleased with these binders.

These are excellent ratchet chain binders very heavy duty and very easy to use.
