Does exactly what it claims to. Will provide an HDMI signal to your TV from your computer.Be aware this does NOT work with nintendo switch for some reason, but that seems to be a compatbility issue for the switch not this device.

I’m giving this 5 stars because it works as intended on my other devices. But it is unfortunately is not compatible with my laptop which is the main reason I bought this for to work with my dock. After doing research, I’ll be returning the item and trying something else.

I tried this with some older Thunderbolt cables to connect 1440p and 1920x1200 monitors (tried each individually), but neither worked until I paired it with a shorter state-of-the-art Thunderbolt 5 cable I happened to get via the Vine program. I look forward to when HDMI and Displayport are replaced entirely with end-to-end Thunderbolt.

This doesn’t work with anything I plug into it. Tried to return and the package is missing a barcode so now I’m stuck with it. Waste of money

This is a good USB C to HDMI adapter. It does exactly what I needed it to. Theres no extra cord you have to deal with, it just the adapter which is perfect. The picture quality and doesn't suffer from an extra piece. Works as intended.

I'm about to say something that will no doubt split the heavens, or at least get some folks quite cross with me:HDMI has had its day.There. I said what I said.Yes, I know, TV sets and monitors and alllll kinds of gadgets still use it. But honestly, USB-C is way better, on so many levels it's hard to know where to start. Wait, no, let's start here: it's more flexible, it's more versatile, and it's smaller.Anyway, if you have, like I do, a computer with USB-C but no HDMI, and you have an HDMI monitor, you need something that turns USB-C into HDMI. Which is what this little thingy does. Plug it into your HDMI monitor, plug your MacBook Pro or whatever into this, and Bob, as they say, is your uncle.It works a treat at doing exactly what it should: letting your gizmo display on an HDMI monitor. That's all it does, but when you need it, you need it.Five stars.
