I bought a house with 4 identical ceiling fans, only one of which had a remote and it was beat up and missing the battery compartment cover. I bought 4 of these remotes based on their matching the one I had. They work great, and saved me a whole lot of hassle in replacing all the controllers or worse yet, all the fans. Do be aware that you'll need to purchase the little 12v camera type batteries separately.

These remote controls for our ceiling fans work very well. They were easy to pair with the fans.

Bought this as a replacement for fan/light remote in my bedroom. So far it is working well. My only complaint is that it uses an uncommon battery. I didn't notice what type of battery it took when I ordered it or I probably would have looked for one that used AA or AAA.

Bought this as a second remote for our bedroom so my husband and I could both control the light/fan after we got in bed. It's really nice if the other person falls asleep before you get in bed. This works like it's supposed to, easy to sync up, but it's WAY bigger than our original remote. We laugh and joke that my husband shouldn't lose this one. LOL!

After living in my home for 22 years my yellowing remote finally died. Thankfully, I found this replacement and all I did was change the tiny little flippy switches that are hidden inside to match the hidden ones I didn’t even know about in mine, and it magically worked! Yay ðŸ˜OH!!!! HEADS UP!!! Make sure you buy the battery that it takes. It’s an A-something. Something most people don’t have around their homes. It takes one. I bought a 2 pack for under $8 on Amazon.Hope my review helped…. Love & Blessings to all! 🕊ï¸ðŸ™ðŸ¼ðŸ’œ

Please Amazon or Seller have a Pop up or something to let us know that we will need to purchase a battery we have never heard of before!! Had you have it, we would have a fan and light on our living room!!

This remote is a replacement for one that was lost and I am very happy with the remote. I did not want to take the fan down to get at the receiver that was mounted up with the fan.The instructions show 4 DIP switches that program the frequency of the remote and one additional switch labeled D.. The actual remote has only 4 DIP switches. It does not have a fifth switch labeled D. Rather there is DIP label (maybe a D/P) label over switches 3 and 4. The instructions state that the Factory Settings are all up (ON) and not to use that Position. The remote had switch 1 ON and switches 2,3 and 4 off when took it out of the package. That setting didn't work with my fan. I started using a binary sequence to choose the switch settings and seeing if I could find the settings that would work with my fan. I found the setting that works perfectly with my fan and, you guessed it, all four DIP switches ON.I am very happy with the remote, now that it is programmed, and would buy it again. Just be ready for a little trial and error experimentation unless you have access to the receiver. (I'm curious now to know what switches and their settings are in the receiver, but not so interested that I will take the fan down to get access to the receiver. Had I had access to the receiver, it might have made the programming easier. Either way, it took me less than 10 minutes to figure it out.)

Worked perfectly first try after setting the 4 dip switches inside remote. If you don't have your old remote to open up and check the dip switch combination, you'll have to throw in a battery and cycle through 16 possible combinations till you hit the one your ceiling fan is set to. It's faster to cycle through them than to open up the actual fan casing and see what it's dip switches are set to. (Especially if your fan is stuck in an ON position since the old remote died)Luckily I still had my remote and it was incredibly easy to set. Fantastic remote. Also make sure to check the battery type, they were exotic enough I couldn't get them at the local supermarket. Ordered a pack from Kmart.

Very easy to setup the dip switch with a screwdriver. Only issue was getting the battery (A23). Had to go to a specialty battery store.

Replacement controller for light/fan. Although slightly more expensive it arrived very soon compared with an alternative and less reliable supplier in China.

Bought to replace identical unit. Arrived with battery which was almost flat. Replaced with new battery but could not pair with fan even with correct code. Maybe not suitable for my fan. Returned for refund.

Popped in the batteries and it worked, no muss, no fuss right out of the box. Why can’t everything be this easy?
