It replaced my old remote. Nothing to do, just put in a battery and the remote worked with my fan! Great product, arrived in one day. Highly recommended !

Got the job done. This remote replaced the original one that came with the house. Looks like exactly the same one.

Moved into a new place, previous tenants clearly broke the old one and put it together enough to get their deposit back. Looked at the part number, bought this one thinking I would return it if it didn't work. Sure enough it worked just fine right out of the box. Didn't need to program it or pair it or anything, just point, click and enjoy the breeze. That leads me to suspect that if I had other fans in other rooms that this could control that too, I would imagine that would be cool, but annoying if you had 2 fans in the same room for whatever reason and wanted them on different settings.

The old remote fall on the floor and quit working. I bought this replacement unit, set the code switches as the old one has and it works perfectly.

I bought two of these, one for each ceilingfan. One works perfectly. The other doesn't turn the light completely off, just reduces it to the dimmest setting. Other than that one issue, they're great.

The original remote wasn't working anymore so I got the same brand and with a little adjusting in the control settings it worked perfectly, fan speed and to turn on the light

I was a littled skeptical that this remote would work with my ceiling fan especially after reading some of the reviews which stated that the battery did not last long. So, I was quite happy that once the battery was installed, I was able to switch on the different speeds of the fan as well the light. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

We lost the original one when my daughter's dog chewed it up, and the one that she found to replace it was not the same as it only had control for one light. This is the correct replacement that is able to control two lights (upper and lower) and works perfectly. FYI - it's a Caswyck 54" ceiling fan, and was very hard to find replacement parts for it, so we're happy to have this now so that we can properly control it.
