I was asked to replace a cracked MacBook Pro screen and initially checked out iFixit.com as I usually do, to find they had a ~$500 part shown. I checked around on Amazon and found this one for $200 and thought I would give it a shot but didn't really expect what I received. This thing was packaged so well, came with a quality set of color-coded tools, and even a full color printed step by step guide of how to do the install. The entire install went very smoothly and I was able to restore the client's MacBook screen to its former glory for a much lower price than the other guys were going to charge. Overall I'm thrilled with this product and it's seller as they delivered a quality product at a very reasonable price!

This is the third MacBook Pro screen I’ve replaced, and swapping out my damaged screen with this replacement took about 30 minutes. The color accuracy, brightness, and fit are all excellent—comparable to the original display in both visual quality and durability.However, the built-in camera isn’t working. While this could be a quality issue with the screen, there’s also a chance it was due to installation or connection issues. Given my experience replacing multiple MacBook Pro screens, I was surprised to encounter this problem.If the camera had functioned properly, this would be a 5-star product, but I recommend potential buyers be aware of this possible issue.Updated review— Make sure to unplug battery before installing!

Screen appears to be great quality. The instructions were very precise and easy to follow. Told youvexactky which tool to use. Pixtures where ezcelle t. The tool kit has everything needed to do this replacement. Some YouTube videos online helped as wellParts are very small make sure you group each screw you take out and table them. I set them on a white piece of paper and wrote which step the screws came from so you can find when going in revers order.

both of the screens I replaced lasted less than two months. They were handled with extreme care, but suddenly stopped working. I am extremely disappointed.

I received and installed the screen but the screen did not work. I plan to send the screen back to the seller tomorrow. Hopefully, they can send me another one that works or I can get a full refund. The screen was in great condition when I received it, it looked nice with a plastic peel stuck to the surface of the screen. It just did not display anything when I powered up my MacBook. I hope the seller will send me a replacement screen that works. We'll see. Sometimes you get a lemon. Hopefully, the seller can sweeten it into a nice glass of lemonade. Thanks for trying.

Purchased this to replace the broken screen on my laptop. Installed nicely and has been working with no problems for a few months. Overall good purchase.

MacBook Model: A2338Replacement Screen purchased: A2338I perform installations often, so installing this screen was easy. The issue is that there is no camera functionality. A camera is a BIG DEAL. So because of that issue, I can only give this item 2-stars. If you don’t need camera functionality for FaceTime, video meetings, or selfies… then this screen replacement may be great for you.

I love this screen ! I bought it and I took my screen apart and attached this new one.This screen came well packed and protected with a booklet for the screen, bubble wrap and also some styrofoam. It also came with tools you need for the screen and also step by step instructions. Excellent Job. I would recommend and buy again.
