Was disappointed at the abysmal 2 hours my GoPro could record before the battery died. Instead of getting a pack of batteries, I decided to look for a passthrough door - and came across this one.While this certainly won't keep any water-resistant features the original battery door had, it's nice to be able to connect a portable power bank to the GoPro to keep it running a bit longer.On top of that, it's also cheaper than getting even a 3rd party battery. Would recommend.

I don't use my action cameras in wet or dirty environments, so having access to the USB-C port is really handy for me. This replacement door is awesome - I can plug in to charge or transfer data without having to raise the door! Super happy!

If you are one that prefers to be able to charge the camera, connect to a PC but not necessarily being in water type environments, this is a handy cover. Appears to be very well made and so far, works fine. The USB-C port cut out is large enough to accommodate most cables. Easy to recommend.
