The product was shipped and delivered quickly and at a timely pace.Only issue is, the wrong bulb came with the lamp hood. It was supposed to be a 10.0 Desert Light, and a 5.0 Tropical was in it instead.

I just recently bought this high-end terrarium light because it was said to last a year without stopping working. I spent a lot of money on this because I wanted to make sure my pet bearded dragon was healthy and happy. The product didn't live up to these claims, though, and stopped working after only a month of use.Performance and Experience with the Product:At first, the light seemed to be exactly what was said it would be. It looked like it gave off the full range of light, including UVB, which is important for my reptile's health. It fit exactly in my aquarium. But after a month, the light started to behave badly and turn off without warning. No matter how hard we tried to fix the problem, the light finally stopped working for good, much sooner than expected.What This Means for Lizard Health: This light's failure isn't just a matter of unhappy customers; it means bad things for lizard health. For many types of reptiles, UVB lighting is not a nice-to-have; it's a must. It is very important for making vitamin D, which is needed for breaking down calcium. Reptiles can get metabolic bone disease if they don't get enough UVB light. This is a very bad disease that can weaken bones, cause defects, or even kill them.The fact that this terrarium light doesn't always work right puts pets that depend on UVB exposure at great risk for health problems. Was delivered the next day the seller is definitely on top of things was carefully so we had no problems with light or fixture everything works perfect as described repti zoo has a good reputation for items that work as they're supposed to or they will swap out and they don't break the bank.. it looks awesome on the tank with my son's bearded dragon

Using this lamp now for a few weeks and it's been running perfectly. I have the lamp set to a Wifi controlled outlet that is set to leave it on for 13 hours a day. My Lizard seems to be more active with this lamp after switching away from an LED UVB bulb. My only complaint is that the cord provided could be a little bit longer. Over all build quality and packaging was good.

I bought this 8/30/24. It was great at first but today it wouldn’t go on. I thought it was the bulb so I went to Petco and bought a new bulb. That’s not the problem it’s the fixture. So I think this should last more than 6 months. It’s past my return time so I’m stuck with it and have to buy a new one. I will look at other brands…don’t waste your money!

The product specifications part of the page for this product mentions that this fixture works with 110 to 220V, based on which i ordered it. However the actual product lists the input voltage as 100 to 120Volts only, thus I can't use it without buying a step down transformer, which I had absolutely no plan on buying.This should have been clearly mentioned, I would not have bought this product had I known, and I made the mistake of not opening this product as soon as I received to be able to return it. Basically just wasted money on something I won't be able to use.
