My 20 year old painted turtle is basking regularly and active. Sure sign that she's getting what she needs out of this bulb. Bulb lasted 6 months, which is recommended replacement interval. Good size for most hoods or lamps. Buying another.

Just what I was looking for for my yellow ear slidder in 40 gal tank habitat. Noticed she is more active and playful. Noticed a difference right way once installed. Highly recommend and will purchase again when needed. This was a great value for the money I spent. The performance and quality are great since the turtle swims and bask staying in the light so I would say it probably helps keep the heat /uvb she requires.

Crap. Lasted less than two months. Now as I look at other reviews, I see this is common for this brand. I tried reaching out to seller but the item didn’t have that option.
