Works great and they can be linked together for those larger set up’s. Has held up great since I bought and the bulb has not gone out. Does not flicker. Unit does get warm but not too hot where you can’t touch it. Great value for the money.

This is a good UV light bar and bulb. It is lightweight and easy to use. It does feel a little flimsy here and there which is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. No issues with how it works.

This item comes assembled. The bulb inside the fixture. It does give you instructions just in case. It's properly secured. With this item you do need to place the lid on your tank, we usually leave it off since we have a leopard gecko but this item needs to sit ontop of the lid. It comes with screws to anchor the bulb down but I found it unnecessary in my case. It's a flat surface and the weight of it held it in place. It's not heavy to dent the lid just enough that it won't flip back. The bulb rests comfortably inside the fixture so you don't have to worry about it breaking. The cord is fairly long and with a flip of a switch it turns on and off. I need to replace the bulb because 15w was not producing any heat at all. The lamp itself got hot but not enough to actually make a spot in the tank hot. In all fairness I usually use a 75w bulb and never tried UV light so I figured it may be different. The light is bright but not blinding though just like regular UV bulbs. Overall, good investment I just need a stronger bulb for my little one not enough to take away a star.

I ordered this UV light and holder from MRREPTILE. The light fixture attached to a plug that goes to the AC socket. However if you move the connector to the light fixture, the light will turn off. This appears to be a possible fire hazard and the light may turn off without my knowledge. Very disappointed in this company. Nothing like the Zoo Med lights, but cheaper to buy.

This light fixture and the bulb provide great coverage for our Beardie Tank. It allows for the entire length of one half of the tank to be a basking area. It doesn't make much noise at all, like some tube lights normally do. The switch to operate the light is simple and easy to use. I love that this fixture did come with 2 lights. That is really a great way to start using an entirely new fixture system. This is a great unit to get if you are looking for a light to cover a good amount of your tanks.

I only have test strips that change color in the presence of UVB I do not have a meter with actual numbers. However, I can confirm that this fixture + bulb combo does give off UVB as it changes the test strip colors.Fixture is well made with a simple on/off switch. Easy to install bulb.
