These where a great product to own and use. I bought these about a year ago and have used them probably at least 100 times and have had no problems whats so ever out of them. The sharpening stone was great and also the guide was very useful when it comes to sharpening them. I am still using them to this day. I would definitely buy this product again.

I know nothing about woodworking, but I needed to put some notches into some doorframes to install some locks that would not fit. I bought this set since it was very affordable. The quality on these things is really great. The handles are thick, dense rubber and somehow don't make my hand sweaty. The metal is heavy and sturdy. They were SHARP, seriously sharp. . . don't drop the large heavy one on your foot, you might lose a toe. But in less than 10 minutes with my hammer, I had successfully notched the door frame and overcome my fear of destroying my home. . . . Afterwards, the blades (or whatever you call them) didn't have a mark on them and the metal strike caps were only a bit scratched. So this set is perfect for a small project or novice user that doesn't need a large or extensive amount of tools.

This is a decent low budget chisel kit with a hard molded case, 2 sided carborundum oil stone and a sharpening jig. I have a set of 20 year old, $150 Mifer Spanish tool steel chisels that I use for furniture and dovetailing but my low end chisels seem to have grown legs and wandered away over the years. Hence this purchase. I knocked one star off for the reasons cited in the "con" area. Here's my Pro/Con for this Rexbeti set.Pro:- Low cost- Nice kit for keeping everything together.- Chisels are decent quality and I've already beat them up hard with no adverse events- Take an edge well. Using my 1000 grit Japanese water stone (not included in this set), I was able to get the edge sharp enough to shave my arm hair (see photo - one note, do NOT try the "arm shaving trick" with the 6mm (1/4") chisel - it will end badly for you.- Two sided carborundum stone. It's a bit rudimentary but it works OK for a quick work site tuneup.-Comes with a sharpening jig but after 40 years of sharpening chisels, I can hit 25 degrees by feel, free hand-Sharpen easily and quickly which is good for a job site but also bad because it means the steel is soft.Con:- Won't hold an edge long in oak or maple but I didn't expect them to do so when I bought them. This set is for mortising door locks or door hinges on softer woods like pine and cedar.-The sharpening jig is sort of useless but most importantly, the kit lacks directions for how to use the jig and the sharpening stone. I think a lot of beginners/newer users would really appreciate some direction that but there's always Google.I could never understand the folks who drop $500+ on a Tormek sharpening system unless you're in a wood/furniture production shop honing dozens of chisels and plane irons every day. If you can't tune up a set of 8 chisels in 20 minutes by hand you're just a tool (pun intended).Overall, this is a solid "beater set" even for an old slag like me that you can abuse on a work site without caring if you damage them. It would also be a great starter kit for a newly minted contractor/woodworker wannabe. Hope that helps!

Purchased these for a project chiseling into 2x4’s. The chisels I used cut through them with ease. All came very sharp and ready to use. These should be my go to for any wood working project for quite awhile. The steel is solid and when the time comes they should sharpen on the grinding wheel. I would not hesitate to purchase these again in the future. Very good product

Don't we all just love Kool tools? I'm no exception. as far as wood chisels go, after this set won't need to buy a new one. The set comes with a warranty. A card with QR code for the registration is in the box. A honing stone, chisel holder, and a couple carpenter pencils are in there as well.Don't know if I can say it here but going to anyway. I bought this set because of the "Stumpy Nubs Woodworking Channel" on YouTube. His biggest point about the chisel set is that the the Steel Cap on the handle goes all the way down to the working end. I have to say this, you won't believe the case. It just FEELS solid. Yes it's plastic, but it protects the tools. The only downside is that the 25 and 32 mm chisels, yes metric system again, they end up loose in the box when I open it. If that's the worst thing I'll take it. Can add leather straps with snaps, or even make a wood case with all of my spare time. Or use a heat gun on a piece of round stock, same diameter, warm it up a little and press, just for a couple seconds to reshape that spot. Yes I banter, been told TMI. The ONE and ONLY negative thing about this kit is livable, and can be corrected with all of the creative energy of people who buy and USE this stuff, not an issue.

Es buen juego de formones, lo uso en mi taller de carpinterÃa y funcionan muy bien. Lo que más me gustó es que viene con su piedra, afilador y en su estuche para tenerlos bien ordenados y transportarlos sin problema. Buen precio y calidad.
