the screws to mount it on the scope could be way better. i understand the use of using plastic screws but a beefier single knob screw would have worked way better, especially it it had three plates instead of just screw heads. adjusting it seems easy but that was the most complicated thing about it.if your phone has a case, youll need to take that off to get the camera as close to the viewfinder as possible. the knurled nut that adjusts the phone angle should be bigger and the nut on the back is really hard to get to and needs a bigger knob to tighten it easier. once all that is done then you have to adjust your zoom on your phone because the image in the periscope isnt 1 to 1. its smaller so that needs to happen or a 2 x magnifier should be in the diopter. Im going to see if i can take a dremel and cut a 1.25x lens from a pair of reading glasses to get that accomplished. ill let you all know.

I so wanted this to work on my rifle scope but the eye relief / field of view became so small when I installed the phone mount that I could not use it. Even the view through my iPhone 13 was not aligned properly. It is the right idea and the quality of the product seems to be OK, it just doesn't work.

hi ive been in market and dont wanna pay $200 - $1000 for a scope camera, sooo this is the alternative for under 80-works if u are in a pinch-missing screw-looking though bracket through scope seams tiny needs to compensate for the distance it takes up-the screw on the back where u tighten the phone so it wont move needs to be a different type of screw and needs to have 2 not 1 maybe mine is missing but other reviews say same time that there is a screw missing. and that it is hard to tighten up i have s21 ultra with a case and doesnt really need to be taken offCan take off buy doesn't make difference

this adapter works fantastic and is well made so much sturdier than any of the plastic i tried in the past and at a very nice price it well; worth what they are asking for it and yes if you want to mount your Binoculars on a tri pod i would buy this one

Right... So I didn't get this camera adapter for my rifle, I was hoping to use it with my telescope instead. The camera adapter seems very sturdy and well made. The attachment areas are tight fitting and it appears a lot of thought went into the design and manufacturing.I thought I would like the spring loaded part of the adapter that holds the phone to the adapter but I think now, I would rather have had the other model that they sell that has knobs you turn to secure the phone in place. I'm not saying they aren't tight enough to hold the phone securely, it seems it does that ok, but it is harder to hold the clamps apart with your hands, and then try to place your phone in position. It can be done ok, I just think, I myself would prefer knobs instead. (I think it would be easier to open it up wide enough to place the phone on the attachment plate, hold them both in place with one hand while tightening it up with the other hand)I am using the pixel phone, and for some reason the camera lens area on the pixel sticks up from the back of the phone ~1/16". So for the camera adapter to work properly and maintain the orthogonality of the optic path I added a spacer to compensate. (Fortunately the camera adapter had enough threading on the attachment/alignment pivot point to allow for the spacer. So far so good, I now had the phone mounted on the camera adapter and could see the alignment was where it needed to be, and see an image through the viewing port. Adjusting the adapter to fit the phone seemed easy enough, I think the flexibility is enough for all phones. It seemed to me things were going to work out fine.Nope... It didn't. There was no way I could get any decent image to show through well enough to get a picture. The view was like looking through a tube. Well in essence that is what was happening, just looking through a tube. Once zoomed in enough to see an image the vignetting was so great, there just wasn't enough image to call it picture worthy.I tried to attach it to my binoculars. It did attach ok but... I felt like, "as my wife put it", ridiculous trying to hold it in a way to achieve focus, hold it to any subject (even using a tripod) attempt finer adjustments. (I should have made a video of it, you would have been entertained just watching that)Ok so before you think me unfair for dropping the rating below 5 stars, (after all I was trying to use it for something it wasn't intended for) Because it didn't work for me is not the reason for the lowered rating. It was due to the fact that "This is" an optical device, and a certain amount of care should be exercised to keep the optics clean. There was no protection at all save for the box it was packaged in. The mirror was dusty with fibrous material (assume from the box) and some other marring material, no idea what. It did all clean up with patients, alcohol swabs and time, but I shouldn't have had to spend that time prior to using the device.Eventually I may get to trying this on a rifle scope, and there, it may work as intended, but for me... na, I can't endorse it wholly. Maybe if they take more care to keep the glass clean it will help out the next person.

It can't support the phone at all. If the phone is heavier, it will fall down by itself.

No comprarÃa de nuevo, el diseño es malo , no se puede ajustar rápido, optarÃa por otra opción electrónica que ya está en mercado. Es malo el diseño.
