Took about 15 minutes for my first one to fix. It went perfectly. It made it very easy with the instructions and watching a youtube video on it. NO LEAKS. I am very happy.

This is a perfect kit to replace/fix a leaking hose bib. Shut off the water, and about 10 minutes later had a hose bib that now functions like new.

I don't know exactly what was wrong with my faucet but it would leak and the handle would pop out when I had a hose attached and water running. So I unded up replacing everything in the kit. I didn't know there were two different sized check valves but I must have used the right one because it's not leaking. Thank goodness or I probably would have ended up having to call a plumber as an emergency call for a new faucet. Anyway the trouble I had was mostly to do with the old equipment. The old handle was fused to the stem with mineral build up. I was eventually able to pry it off but it took some work. The same goes for the old float nut. It took some time to get it off but I eventually did. After everything was replaced I turned it on and it was leaking from the float kit. It turns out the stem on the included float is shorter than the old one, so I had to reuse the old one in order to stop the leaking. No big deal but it's slightly annoying. My faucet is no longer leaking when I don't have the hose attached but it still leaks just a little bit from the packing nut when I have the hose attached no matter how much I tightened the packing nut. I think my water pressure may be too high and that's what causing the leaking. So I'm just going to live with the slow dripping whenever I use the hose.I was pleased that I was able to install this on my own. I don't have a ton of experience but I also didn't want to spend $500 on a plumber. So I figured for $20 I can try it and if I fail, then I'll call a plumber and possibly spend extra for the emergency service if worst came to worst. The instructions included were good but I also watched a YouTube video beforehand and during the install. So if you are good at following directions and want to save money, give it a try.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this set to replace our outside a spigot and it fits perfectly. Haven’t had any issues since replaced.

This worked great to fix the leaky spigot in the garage. I did have to watch a couple YouTube videos to ensure I fixed it just right, but overall it was simple to fix.

This kit contained all the parts needed to repair my Woodford Model 17 frost-free spigot. The spigot had worn to the point where it would not completely shut off the water, not matter how tightly the valve was closed. All gaskets and packing needed for repair were included in this kit. A color instruction sheet gave simple and clear steps. Installation was simple and effective.
