Employing over 200 people, the company prides itself on remaining a family-owned, American small business. This book is ideal for use in labs and science classes. The smooth 20# green writing paper is printed with 4 square/inch graph layout. The pages are consecutively numbered from 1-152. The covers are made from a flexible red 10 pt pressboard. The book is glued and taped along the 11 3/4″ side, and sheets are not designed for removal from the book. There are 76 sheets/152 pages per book. Proudly made in USA!

My new favorite notebook of all time! I have used various laboratory notebooks for 30+ years, from the school style with splotchy black and white covers and rules printed so dark they interfere with reading your words, to the professional type with signature, witness and date blocks at the bottom of every page. I've tended toward the larger format with grid lines for their usability across all requirements (drawing-writing-shared drawing).This notebook has the four key features I was looking for:* Large format! Awesome large pages.* The gridlines are light but visible, like (, but on BOTH sides.* The paper is strong to withstand ink, erasing, scratching, etc.* The cover is flexible for portability (important for the large format!)Please note that the spine is glued, not sewn. Glued spines do not lay as flat as some sewed spines. No points deducted. I have flattened multiple spreads in this notebook without destroying the spine (yet). If you require lay-flat, buy a sewed spine.I have destroyed some other glued notebooks by other vendors. This one appears to have a high-quality glue job, so I am optimistic. I will downgrade my rating if any pages fall out in the future.

The pages of this notebook are thin and seem low quality. The pages are also bound in a way that makes the middle of the pages lift/bubble up, so you have to hold them down to write properly. I went back to another brand I had bought previously.

Good quality paper. No bleeding or ghosting even with wet writing pens. My only complaint is the sticker on the cover doesn't remove cleanly.
