These are some decent crimped wire wheels. They're pretty similar in size, with two each of about 2", 2.5" and 3" in diameter. They're packed relatively tight, and I haven't experienced any wires flying back at me. They've got a hex shank, so you can't really use them on a die grinder without an adapter of some sort, and they're too big for a rotary tool, so you're limited to using these on a drill. They're good for removing rust and corrosion from metal, especially in irregular surfaces such as around bolts or fasteners as well as brackets. The cost per wheel is good, and if the price was right, I'd get them again.

I often have tools, patio furniture and farm implements that become somewhat rusted and need to be brushed clean. This assortment of wire wheels is perfect for my battery powered drill to clean away rust before painting or oiling. I've been building an electrolysis tank to remove rust from object I find while metal; detecting. One of the first things you need to do with a rusty object, is remove as much of the existing rust as possible before subjecting the object to electrolysis (improves conductivity). I ordered this set of wire wheel brushes to help with that.I had preciously purchased a set from a well-known budget hardware store. From the moment I started using that set the wires (making the brushes) started to fly everywhere. Good thing I wear safety goggles when doing this. So far, this set from Rocaris has not done that and has been working well. I took away a star because some of the wire brushes were uneven which makes using them a tad more difficult, but they still work well for me.

These came all jammed and tangled together in a small box. The last wire-brush set I bought came in a bubble pack that kept each brush separated. Half of the brushes have extraneous long wires that need to be trimmed back before use. Sloppy manufacturing and packaging.

These are sturdy and do a great job. Perfectly priced. They last well and don’t lose bristles easily.I will order again when needed.
