I love 💜 this tumbler! It is super great quality, worth the money. It holds 3lbs of rocks. It's very durable and it has never leaked. I really like the look of it. The cover for it makes it look very professional. It is definitely worth the money 💰. If you are wanting a great rock tumbler then this is the one you want.I thought I would give you an update on information about this tumbler. I have had it for several months now and I still love it. I'm am wanting to buy a second one so that I can get more done. This thing is super quiet. The tumbler I had about 10 years ago was so loud. Even though it was outside in the garage you could still hear it in the house. This one is in the garage as well but you can't hear it in the house and even when you are in the garage with it you barely notice it. It does a great job tumbling the rocks. My late husband was the one doing the tumbling all those years ago, I know a little about tumbling but I have learned a lot lately. I have bought a few books and I am learning how to be more efficient and effective. I really enjoy seeing the rocks after each step. My favorite step is the last one, polishing. It takes a little longer to get them nice and shiny. My late husband would have loved this tumbler. It is quiet, durable, aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, comes with instructions on how to do each step and has settings for how many days you want it to run and two different speeds to run it on. I can't say enough good things about it. Oh, and it is cheaper than most of the other ones. Definitely worth every penny. Don't go high dollar to start out with but don't go with the cheaper plastic barrels either. Try this one!! Happy tumbling!

This is my new favorite thing about my house, it works so well, I'm on my second batch and my stones come out perfect, it's easy to use, It's so quiet it's become my white noise, it sounds like a coffee maker, both modes are incredibly quiet, comparable to sleeping with a fan on. If it shuts off I'll wake up in the middle of the night. I love it💜

I have to agree with other reviews in that the drive belt destroys itself. And then Tryes Toys wants to charge $60...let me repeat...$60 for 3 replacement belts.This rock tumbler will eventually die and I refuse to pay $60 for 3 glorified rubber bands so I will look for another brand.I don't recommend this rock tumbler.UPDATE 3/29/24: Communications with the customer service department has proved to be very good. Through a volley of email communications to try to problem solve why the tumbler kept stopping, it was determined that it was the drive belt was the culprit. Tryes Toys did send me some replacement belts.I operate the tumbler in my house so I do like the noise cancelling cover that fits over the tumbler barrel.

I had initially left a review complaining I couldn’t find a replacement lid for the barrel. After emailing the customer support, they were able to solve my issue! They get back to you quick if there’s any issues: The product itself - excellent. Works like a charm. Would gladly recommend to friends and family interested in tumbling rocks! Thankyou tryes!

Love this little machine, have used it several times now. Havent had any spilling from the barrel with use. The noise isn't bad at all, there is some but we managed to sleep with it right next to our bed and one setting even felt rather soothing. Love the accessories with it, have made a Keychain to carry around one of the rocks. One button is used to set the number of days, I believe it goes up to 10 days, a second button sets speed, 3 speeds, the last button starts the machine but there is no power off button only start and stopping the barrel. So being plugged in the digital display remains lit up.

Pros:SmallLightweightVERY quiet - I live in a studio and can barely hear it through the one wall I have (no door)Does its job.Cons:Grit provided isn't the greatest. It only includes what is conventually step 1 coarse, step 3 fine, and little foam sponges as polishing but I didn't see ant results. I got a better quality of grit elsewhere anyways since there's only 2 times included.The rocks pictures were tumbled with steps 1 and 2 provided. They are only shiny because they're currently wet. I am waiting to polish until I get 12000 grit aluminum oxide.

After the first batch of rocks, it quit working much like the problems everyone else had. I should have read more reviews when I got this. Poor quality though we did like how quiet it was.

This is fun. It is fairly quiet. The only issue is grit. You only get two kinds of grit, and sponges. When I went reorder grit I found it to be cheap, but more importantly, more kinds. I will redo my stones and see if four levels of grit is better than two.
