In my quest to resolve the water leakage issue with my Delta faucet handle, this faucet stem assembly came to the rescue. My first time replacing these parts in a faucet and it was an easy and smooth process. The leak stopped immediately after installation, and the faucet now operates smoothly. For a quick DIY project this was nice and easy.

Works as replacement for original, but handle now loose even with tightening down set screw. Thinking brass stem is smaller so it allows handle to jostle. Kind of annoying.

I really like that this maintains the brass tip.I've got three sinks to repair, and I'd been trying just replacing the bushings and springs with no luck, still some weeping.So I just got these replacement cartridges and they stopped all leaks, I'm very happy with them.

The only problem that I had was that the 'rubber' seats were too large to fit into the opening and too rigid to be pushed down to fit. I re-watched a video a couple more times to make sure the seat went with the open side down (over the spring), but I could not force the seat to fit. I eventually ripped one so I put the old seats back in. The faucet still drips, so I ordered a set of just seats and springs. The seats seem to have too wide of a flange at the bottom and were much stiffer than the ones I replaced.The replacement seats were exactly the same, so not the seller's fault. I carefully sanded a little off of the bottom rim of the seats and used the positive end of a AA battery to push the seats down into the opening (this helped align the seat by keeping the hole centered). The seat has to fit snugly but still be able to move up and down or it doesn't seal.The stem assemblies are fine.I revised this review after receiving the seal and spring kit.
