So I had bought a jar of Kosher dill pickles and the vacuum seal was so strong that I couldn't get the lid to budge. I tried using my "brute strength" and that didn't work. Tried running cold water, then hot water over the lid. Nothing.Tried slapping the jar on the bottom to pop the vacuum seal, but that didn't work either.Finally thought to look on Amazon for something to help me get the lid off. There are a variety of items that I considered but then I saw this gadget and figured it was worth a try.This was the miracle tool I didn't know I was looking for. It took a second to seat the jar key on the lip of the lid, lift a smidgen, and the vacuum released and the lid could be removed like I'd been trying to until I got this tool. So glad I got this and future pickle jars will be at my mercy!

I’m getting older and don’t have as much strength in my arms. Live alone so no guy to help. Didn’t want a clunky gadget and this works perfectly! Super easy and just keep it in the kitchen utensil drawer. I’m glad a chose this one. Would highly recommend!

This is the second time I bought this. I gave mine to my daughter in law as it is small to fit in the drawer and makes opening jars a breeze. Made of plastic but very sturdy. I've had my first one for years!

I've used a jar popper for at least 30 years. It has always performed well until just recently. Apparently it tackled one too many tightly sealed jars. I replaced it with this jar popper and I have every reason to believe it will perform as well, if not better, than it's ancestor. It is thick and sturdy

I love this. I had a big jar of olives from Costco that I couldn’t get open. With anything. I saw this and ordered and it worked. Doesn’t work on everything. But if my other jar opener won’t work this one does. I’m just happy to finally eat my olives

I originally purchased one of these after breaking my wrist and not being able to get into jars - a simple tool but amazing - works perfectly. Then my father who has arthritis tried it and was really impressed - so he'll be getting one for Christmas as well. Definitely recommend!

I had hoped it would open my blueberry jam jars from France but nothing happened. The jar openerjust slipped off the surface not just once but every time I tried to open up the jar lid.The pressurized lid from these jars is extremely tough and the surface is extremely slippery.I finally went to the tool kit and got out the giant V-grip wrench.That did the trick!

Very strong, does the job well, smoothly-coated and pleasing and reassuringly sturdy to hold. Easy to use by elderly, one-handed person as the handle is wide enough to get a firm grip.
