My dog is a great watchdog and runs to the door when there is any danger outside that could threaten our family (such as a squirrel or the neighbor's 10 pound dog). I have tried those "gripper mats" that you put under a rug to keep the rug from moving when he runs excitedly to the door and NONE of them worked (even the one touted as super gripper). I was constantly having to put the rug back in place. Then I applied these to the rug as the package instructed and it fixed the problem! The rug has not moved once since! If you have problems with a rug sliding these are the answer. Note that the number that you stick on the back of the rug increases with rug size so make sure you buy the right number of packages for your rug.

I recently bought the Urdar Brunnr Rug Carpet Non Slip Grippers, and they have been a game-changer! These grippers keep my rugs in place perfectly, eliminating any slipping or sliding. They're super easy to install and work well on various floor types. I love how they offer extra safety, especially in high-traffic areas. Plus, they’re low-profile, so they don't interfere with the look of my rugs. Overall, I highly recommend these for anyone looking to keep their carpets secure and stylish!

These are a saver. I kept tripping on my rug in my living room. I put the sticky pad on the rug and then onto the tile. It works great. You can even vacuum on top of the rug and the rug won’t move.

I swear our cats purposely started their zoomies on our hallway rug. It would bunch up behind them like they were in a cartoon! Plus, when we'd try to vacuum the rug, it wouldn't stay still even with a mat.We live in an apartment with faux wood floors so this product sticks really well. The rug has not moved AT ALL since installing these sticky pads. I even got a "running" start to try and get the rug to slide - nothing. I highly recommend this product if you need to keep something in place. The directions are laid out pretty well via diagram on the packaging and I definitely suggest following the diagram. One thing I can't speak to is what the consequences of this high performance will be for the flooring. The packaging says there will be no damage, so I'm hoping that's the case! However, please take note that they do tell you the pads are not meant to come off of the rug.*Update*About six months later we unexpectedly had to move. As you can see from the picture, there was no damage to the floor when we pulled it up. The rug has now been restuck to the new floor and is holding all the same.

This is perfect if you have a wooden floor. I don’t have a glaze/varnish on my floor it’s just wood. And if it’s varnished it’s very thin. The rug side is very sticky so it can be a bit difficult to get the peel off. Just keep picking and trying to roll back one corner and it’ll come up enough to peel. The floor side is easier.I highly recommend you don’t get the floor side wet. The pics show you can clean them. However I truly believe it removes all adhesive due to a small amount of moisture causing on corner with two full pads to not stick to the floor and can easily be lifted up.I’m going to try and dry them with a hair dryer to see if that can dry and also warm up the adhesive again.Overall it does its job and keeps the rug down. Now my door doesn’t mess it up, I don’t trip, and I am confident it’s secure. I got the 16 pack just incase I needed more as I have a massive rug to fill almost my whole room.

These carpet grippers work nicely on the lighter weight throw rugs and carpet runners I use over my hardwood floors. They keep the rugs in place when the dogs tear through the room or the robot vacuum goes across them. I imagine that they would also work well on heavier rugs just as well. You do want to make sure both the back of the rug and your floor are clean and dust-free for the best attachment, and it helps to lay the tapes in a sunny spot for a few minutes to increase the stickiness for best adhesion.I am happy with the functionality of these gripper tapes, especially because they will not damage my hardwood. They claim to be reusable, but I found it difficult to clean and reuse the one tape that got dog hair stuck all over it when I was getting started. It is frustrating and difficult to have both sticky sides uncovered and wet after washing with water. I used a towel bar to hang dry it after cleaning, and it does stay sticky.Overall, these would be a 4- 5 star product based on how they stick and come off without damage like regular carpet tape would leave on the floor, but the price is just too high to justify. The stickers cost almost as much as the rug, and that seems silly to me. I probably will not purchase more.

These non slip rug grips are great! I’ve tried other types, but my dogs would just push the area rugs up and run off with the rug grips. Well, I finally outsmarted them when I bought this brand. They stick really well and my dogs can no longer pull up the area rugs.
