Heavy-duty, and easy to plug-in. My old straight adapters' cord was pulling out of the connector. This 90° design eliminates that problem.

This is secure but only sticks out about the same amount as the outlet cover. Much better than the last one I owned that was straight out.

Works great. Our Gen input for power outages has ONLY 120v circuits, so I'm able to run the house from my 120v 3000W invertor gen set.

I recently got a couple of used UPSes with a variety of plugs. Since I'm going for endurance, not load, I don't expect to need anywhere near 15A. So I got this adapter to plug one of the 30A 110/120V UPSes into a 15/20A circuit in my garage.I'm not using the locking connector ring, but it seems to work fine, and with barely 10A of load on the UPS, this is more than enough adapter for my needs. If I outgrow this underuse of the UPS, I'll look for a 20A version, but for now, it's quite enough, and for the $21 price at the time I ordered it, it's a good deal.

I use this on my RV for a standard extension cord while not in use. It works great. I also think the 90 degree design is great to minimize prying on the camper wall.It would be nice if these devices had something to cover and protect the connection to the extension cord from rain, but I have not found any brand that does that yet. This one is no different than the others. So I fabricated a cover.

I use this for my camper to connect my external solar generator. Works great.
