The item was packaged nicely and arrive the very next day at 5:38 AM. It came with 3 different mounting plates. I chose the low profile mount since I was able to recess the alarm. By recessing it, it protects the unit better since it is installed in our rv down near the floor. Much less chance of hitting it with your feet or other obejcts. It came with wire clamps making it very easy to install. It started up as per instructions. I like the concentration display as well. It has not detected anything to date, but that is good. There is no doubt in my mine that it will fucntion as described.

Very easy install. Any detector needs to be changed within 3 yers depending on conditions. Be safe, purchase one now! This model looks great with 2 functions for propane and carbon monoxide! This should last 4 more years.

Moderately priced this is the unit i chose to replace my old C0/Propane detector in my RV. The old on had run its course and needed to be replaced. The unit installed very easily and I was able to lose the wire nuts and allowed simple connection of the unit to the supply wiring using wago connectors provided by the detector. It comes with three plates to allow different sizes of access holes for installation. I have not tested its ability to detect either CO or Propane gases so I am just trusting that it can do what it proclaims to do. Overall, I am happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

As described. Multiple plastic mounting brackets that result in a professional, finished look.

Easy and reasonably priced replacement for surface or flush mount propane and/or carbon monoxide detectors – my RV had individual detectors for each. Has a quick connector for 12 vdc. Just make sure which wire is + and - because RVs often use different colors than red (+) and black (-). My RV 12 volt feed wires were 12 gauge black (+) and white (-). They had to be reduced to 14 gauge to use the quick connect red (+) and black (-) on the detector, so it would grip and hold the wires properly. The connector can be easily removed from the detector wires though to use crimp connections or wire nuts if you don’t want to mess with that. This is not well documented. However pay attention to the multiple warnings about not getting the + and – polarities reversed to the detector. Best to remove the 12 volt fuse to the detector feed or complete 12 Volt power on the RV to prevent any shorts when installing. I tested it after install and warmup with gas from a small lighter - worked as it should for the LPG detection. Good detector - would recommend.

We replaced our older model with this up graded model. (Old one was only 3 years old). This one is so much more sensitive. We ordered a second one to put in our kids RV.Easy to install and easy to re wire into the RV

Wired correctly. Even in a direct stream of propane gas it does not sense nor alarm from the propane. Device is powered just does not function. Other sensors I have do
