Works great when updating electric in vintage trailer. Tight seal, easy installation if you know what you’re doing. Make sure all wires are where they need to be before installing. If not paying attention you could make more work for yourself. But overall, easy install and works great.

I installed this into a vintage camper renovation that had no electric. It took 45 minutes from start to finish. We cut the hole in the camper wall, added 1/2" ply backing for the screws to bite into. It was a 2 person job to libe up the screws at the end with one person outside and the other inside. This took the longest. One surprise feature was the wire harness folds back and open so you can easily put the stripped ends of the wires into their assigned holes. The holes are color coded to mat h the wire color.

My camper came with a poorly thought out power connection. Left a huge hole for an critter to crawl into, & all the heat or ac to escape. So I bought this power inlet, & the plug end you see there, & wired it all up correctly. To be fair, I just finished the job. Will revisit after we've used the camper a few times. I cannot help but wonder if the one star reviews had anything to do with operator error, specifically in the wiring of the inlet.4 stars because seriously, I just installed it....
