Instead of lugging out the 50 amp power cord when your camper is at the house this device allows you to use an extension cord in place of. Obviously you cannot operate the AC units but for the refrigerator and other 110 volt loads (including the camper’s converter and battery maintainer) it works perfectly. Saves some time. Very good quality, fits the camper’s female receptacle snuggly and has a good male 110 volt plug.

Works like it's supposed to. The fastening ring that clamps it to the outlet seems a little thin but overall I can't complain about quality. It hooks up to my 50 amp connection and I can run the extension cord at my storage site to a normal 3 prong outlet. This allows me to run a small dehumidifier inside the RV to keep down the moisture while it's in storage. No need to run cords through a window or opening that could let water or bugs inside.

Great product and it a must for your 50 amp servicewe don't have a 50 amp hook up at home so with product uou can just plug it in to router rv and just plug in a extension cord and it's good

I bought this to run some lights at church using a 50 amp generator inlet with my 1800 watt 120 v generator. It fits perfectly without wiggle or slop. Be aware that with the 120V 15A to 50A adapter, you will still have 120V and only 1 of the 2 hot legs will be energized. In my case when using this adapter, only 1/2 of the circuits in the breaker box will receive power. It powers enough of the lights to use the building, so I can leave the big 220v generator home.
