Our TT has a 50 amp power cord...but this is only needed in the summer, when we need to run both ACs. In fall, winter, and spring. a 15 or 20 amp outlet provides all the power needed.A 50 amp power cord is expensive and easily stolen while you are away from your trailer...why take that risk when that much power is not needed? This adapter lets use a cheap extension cord most of the year.

Was super skeptical on a cheap plug but figured I would try it as it is only 110v. Got home and installed onto my camper to try out immediately when I got home. Highly recommend it now. CHEAP and works great! Finally got to test all my electrical in the camper and had 0 issues. i am worried about no surge protector but I didnt pay enough to whine about that.
