It goes without saying, get the right tools for replacing any tech component with so many different shapes on drivers: stars, hexagons, triangles, squares, etc. Unfortunately, the mini screwdrivers in the seller's item picture were not included in the sale. This delayed the replacement install for a day or two. I had to spring for a tech screwdriver kit to complete the install. A pamphlet with instructions was included but it was missing some steps. You're better off following an install video online.Confirm you have the tools for the install when you place the order unless you have some extra time. I was in a hurry and it was an inconvenience. Luckily, the screen worked on start up, it's a Retina display with a crisp and vivid picture. It's only been about three weeks since I've had it but I'll be sure to update if there are any complications. If this review is still up without any updates, rest assured that the screen is still alive and running.I rated the sale overall a 5 for the FAST shipping, sturdy packaging and high quality screen but rated a 3 on "easy to install" for posting screwdrivers that were not included in the picture. I could've rated a 2 but I decided to just go neutral on this one since the screen works like a charm.

Great product overall and incredible support. I watched a video on YT to install the new screen and everything was fine. They also have a step by step flyer teaching how to do it. You gotta be super careful when handling the computer battery. Unfortunately the screen didn't last long but the support was excellent and they're sending a new one.

This screen was very easy to install and worked fantastically at first. However, after less than a year it simply shut off one day and went black. Now I need to buy a new screen because there isn't any product support available.

The screen came amazingly packed securely wrapped with bubble wrap and protective film on both sides of the screen as well as a layer on the cords. The quality is good. I followed an in-depth YouTube video did the replacement in under 2 hrs the screen came with the kit shown in the photo รขโฌยฆ I did buy a tech tool kit and used some of the other drivers for 1 or 2 screws because they became a little stripped. But over all would buy again but I donรขโฌโขt hope toรฐลธยคยฃ

I successfully installed this on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) (model A2159) and have been using it for a month with no issues. I can confirm that the screen, camera, light sensor, and hinges work. I can also confirm that all necessary parts/screws are included and that the Apple logo looks fine.The only issue is with the hinges: they are better than some other screen replacements, but not as good as original parts. But overall this product works well and I'm really happy with it.

I think for the folks complaining that the screen is glitching they probably damaged the flex cables during install or left something lose. At least the one I received worked out the box and the hinges like most complained seemed to be sturdy, just like the original screen. You have to be careful with the colors as the macbook have Silver, Space Gray and Space Black, depending on the model and year. Overall install took 50 mins. For my A2289, i needed a T3, T5, T8 and P1.2

Update: sevenpuppy contacted me offering a full refund if I deleted my review. I only have been honest in my review and told them I will not be extorted to changing my review but would happily take a refund for a defective product. I have not heard back since.Following a Youtube tutorial, this screen was moderately difficult to install. Some of that difficulty is due to screws stripped from factory assembly making it difficult to remove old screen.I found out how little I use my Facetime camera, because I just barely found out that it doesn't work! I should have checked this right after install.

The second I took it out of the box I noticed the cut out for the Apple logo looks pretty bad. After I installed it I noticed that colors looked horrible on low brightness. Turning off auto brightness fixed this. After a few weeks I started noticing that the backlight was bleeding through the plastic around the edges of the screen. I also noticed a few dead pixels then a little while later I noticed even more. It works as a screen but the quality isnรขโฌโขt that great and having dead pixels on something less than a month old is irritating.

After swapping this new screen. As you can see it's not working. There is background light but not working. So sad I wanted this to work and stop using my external monitor รขหยนรฏยธย
