Even though this item had only one review I chose it because it has all the necessary components for seed starting (minus the soil and seeds). I didn't have to look for a separate warming mat or anything else. I figured all the products were pretty much the same anyway. Like any of these kits in this price range they are going to be made of cheap materials so they need to be handled with care but as long as the lights keep working I don't see why I shouldn't expect several years of use from these. So about this product - the lights work, the light timer works, the heat mat works, the trays and covers are functional - my seeds are sprouting - so it is doing what it is supposed to do. I am satisfied with this purchase.

I like the heating mat with timer. The seed containers are little flimsy making it awkward to attach light on top and hard to add moisture to the seedlings. If the seed containers and tops were sturdier it would be so much better. The mat is a 5 star; the seed trays and lids are a 3 star.

If you live in a zone where you have to start your seedlings indoors this is a must have! It comes with everything you need (minus the seeds and soil). Some of the reviews on here say the mat is too small for all 5 containers .. it’s not lol. You just gotta fit them the right way (see my photo). Super easy to put together and definitely helped my seedlings sprout faster! It even helped my jalapeño seeds sprouts which I could never get to before. Worth every penny and I am considering buying a second one!

Had a few seed to germinate needed some seed cells. These are great for popping your new seedlings. comes with the 5 trays, humidity Domes with light and cell trays, some extra little tools to help plant things as well. domes seem to hold humidity Pretty well. Lights are great but the only complaint is with the small circular light on the dome doesn't spread out enough light to keep the outside seed from really leaning more towards the center than straight up and down, still a great product.

The seed trays work great, but the grow lights aren't strong enough to really start any seeds that require direct sun. The heating mat came in super handy. Overall for the price and what you get I would recommend

I did not expect what I got for the price. The trays hold in moisture/ humidity very well. Withh the combination of good tray and the heat mat..... I had tomatoes and other seeds sprout in two days I kid you not I never thought seeds could sprout so quickly. Would recommend.

This heating mat is perfect. The mat is thin and lays flat. The heat is even over the entire area with no hot spots. The temperature probe is very accurate and quickly responds to changes. Highly recommend this product.

I've been using this in my oven to keep the temperature consistent. It keeps my oven between 79-84F which works perfectly. I am planning on mounting it in a styrofoam box. It is going to work well.

I haven't used the seed trays yet. But the heat mat barely gets warm. It is only capable of increasing the temperature by a couple of degrees.
