My review contains first impressions, adjustment period, long term use, cleaning, comparison to competition, and feedback to PetSnowy.Long story short, this is by far the box you need to buy, do not settle with the competition or you will be disappointed with some other overseas hunk of junk.Day 1, Unpacking/ ConfigurationThis litter box was refreshingly simple. There is little to no assembly required. You essentially pull it out of the box, remove the tape, connect the app (which took 2 minutes) and it’s ready to go.Day 2, Adjustment PeriodMy cats immediately adjusted to the box. I tried to make it as easy as possible for them while giving them room to figure it out. I have an 8 year old female cat and a 7 month old male cat. I popped out and set aside the curtain, poured their prior litter box contents into this one, discarded the old box, and set both cats individually into the litter box so they understood what it was for. An important note: I also completely changed rooms (from my office to the living room) and this did not phase them a bit. A couple things that may have helped, I turned off automation for the scent and automation for clean up. I wanted to ensure they could smell and they weren’t being spooked by new sounds. They may have found it without these adjustments, but I believe it helped.3 Months, Long TermI’ve used it for a few months now and mannnn.. This has quickly become a necessity. I really have to say, this outcompetes every other automatic litter box on the market because of thorough and thoughtful design. The little hallway is PIVATOL. All other litter box designs will still drive you crazy with the problem of litter tracking every time your cat hops out. I am safe to forget about this box for a week, box right in the living room, and never think to clean it. This box has yet to show any issues.CleaningCleaning is beyond easy. There’s zero litter on my floors for all times. I no longer have to wake to the smell of waste, or worry about leaving the house for a day or two only come back to.. gah.. And when you do get to a point where you need to deep clean the parts, it’s a breeze. There are no locking pieces, or clips, or anything that’s gonna make running a couple wipes over plastic a hassle. One thing that makes cleaning easier is a handheld vacuum, just a heads up.CompetitionRoughly 6 months prior to this purchase, I purchased (and quickly returned) an automatic litter box from a different seller. My frustration from that box started within the first hour of set up. With that machine, I remember I had to disassemble and reassemble just to get it running, and the app would not connect until I troubleshooted online. It had sooo many problems, and was unusable within the first month. Of course, after I returned, I went back to cleaning litter the default way, scoop in my hand. I never realized how gross it was! Waste right in your face for several minutes.. I was gagging every morning. On top of all I’ve already mentioned, PetSnowy’s machine is the only one that takes into factor litter tracking.Things for PetSnowy to improve on with future models:

Changing my review to 5-stars. Customer service was extra-proactive once we connected and figured out the issue. I still recommend the air neutralizer, smaller mesh screen, & non-scented activated charcoal clumping litter. It’ll be A+++ for any small space.///I purchased the PetSnowy+ TiO2 on Nov 30th from Amazon.PROS: NO SMELL. I'm not sure why other customers are having issues, but perhaps they didn't load the bag correctly? Its been a while since I've had a cat, so I'm not noseblind to litter perfumes or kitty stink. I tried a scented litter first (before the cat even arrived), and I noticed a strong cloud of floral stink in my 600 sqft apartment. I immediately ditched the scented stuff for Tidy Cat Free & Clean with activated charcoal. Immediate improvement! The litterbox activates after about 7 minutes. Its a fairly quiet motor but if you're a light sleeper I'd set the Do Not Disturb feature (which I'd love to do if my app features actually worked!).Sure, there's a VERY brief minute or two right after the box cycles that you may smell the kitty waste. However, that's all smells and odors. To further control any smells or dust, I purchased the Germ Guardian AC4825 22†3-in-1 True HEPA Filter Air Purifier. I'm glad I did, because even without a cat I noticed a difference in my sleep quality and sinus issues. In addition, I highly recommend using the PetSnowy Mini Mesh litter screen to keep the kitty waste remnants to a minimum. I swapped the screen that came with the device; honestly, the Mini Mesh should be included in the box so you have the option. Its only $20 on Amazon.KITTY REVIEW: He was leery of the box at first, so I left the bonnet off for a week so he could use it like a regular litterbox. I'd just check a few times a day and put the bonnet back on and cycle the box to clean it. He was curious about the motor function, and will sit outside the box and watch it work.We are now in stage 2 of box comfort training. I put the bonnet on the box, and leave the top lid open without the curtain. I think its rather small for my 12lb kitty, but so far he's using the box regularly in this configuration and is still curious about the motor. Eventually I'll close the top lid, but likely won't use the curtain because its so dark and cramped. And the HEPA filter + Tidy Cat litter is working perfectly.CONS: The app doesn't work. I have an iPhone SE with updated iOS 17.1.2. I've tried deleting and reloading the app, powering my phone on/off - and it still doesn't work. The only thing I can do is set a "scene" and turn the button lights on/off or get notifications (NOT push notifications) that the bonnet is off.1. When opening the app, it brings me past the splash screen (the one with the kitten scene). From the home screen, I select my device. It quickly flashes what I think is a cartoon image of a litter box, but then immediately goes to a "Unit" page for lbs or kgs.2. I select "lbs," but nothing happens. I go back to the home screen, and this just goes on and on in a constant loop. I don't have any data on my cat's litterbox use, his weight, if the device needs to be cleaned - nothing.I've emailed customer service and checked online for troubleshooting - so far, no response or tips/tricks of value.Even though I'm happy with HOW the box works and controls smell, I'm giving this device a 3-star review - only because I spent $600 on a device that should have all the app functionality working to give me the data that I need, or the control I need to maintain this expensive device properly. Otherwise, I could have spent $200 on a device that works basically the same without an app that I can easily afford to replace if it breaks.

Overall, this is a pretty great litter robot! I’ve never had one before but I have two 1yr old cats and they got used to the robot almost immediately. I had to open the top part where you top of litter and place them inside to show them that it’s their new litter box and once they started to use it I closed the top and let them figure out the exit. After I did that they started just using it on their own by going through the little door. The cleaning and rotating surprised them at first but they were just really curious and got used to it after a day. It was extremely easy to set up and connect the app and it’s a super aesthetic design. It’s pretty big so you’ll definitely have to designate space for it but it’s definitely not an eye-sore. The cleaning consistently and automatically stops the moment it senses any weight which is super nice. The app itself is super funny and cute which is nice. The only thing I dislike about it is the fact that anything on top of the robot gets sensed as a cat and you get notified. My cats love to lie on top of the robot and take naps there but that gets recorded as a cat trying to use the robot and sends me a notification after 2 minutes. It then will start cleaning after my cat moves off of it. The app is also inconsistent when recording my cats’ weight so itll record the same cat as 6lbs then 7lbs later. I paid $630 for it (plus taxes and shipping) and I think that’s a reasonable price for the robot, however I would not pay full price because of the little issues that should be resolved for a price that high. The liners are also pretty expensive so for such a steep price I would expect the app and sensors to work better.

It took my cats two months to get used to it, I had to keep the old litter box next to it (without cleaning it to make the new one more appealing) and manually clean for a few weeks as the automatic cleaning was scaring them. Also got the deodorising function off first few months. Once they got used though is a game changer! Makes your life so much easier and use much less litter. Keep in mind bags are expensive and with two cats it gets full once a week.

Absolutely loving this cat litter, it will definitely help to keep the arguments of “It’s your turn to empty the littler box†to a minimum now! 😂

I don't normally write reviews, let alone positive ones, but this really deserves it.No more digging through litter to scoop poop, smell is pretty much non existent and the litter track a lot less! We have 2 Siberian cats (6kg and 3kg) and they couldn't be happier with their new toilet. The only reasons to take off the star are 1) the bags are pretty expensive so we would need to hack it somehow and 2) our cats pee on the side of the tray so litter sticks to it and doesn't always fall in the waste drawer without assistance so I feel like the tray will need replacing at some point. That being said, this litter robot was worth every penny and is highly recommended!
