I haven't fished with it yet, do this is a bit premature, however I dropped the line in the process of loading it in my fly reel. This, I can say, it has no memory, is soft and I expect it will perform as I want it to.

Went out to test this line with a cheap Raprance reel also from Amazon. This line exceeded my expectations by far. It is MILES ahead of the Bass Pro/Cabela’s budget line (white river I believe)EXCELLENT cast-ability. I was able to lift my line and shoot it right back out in tight situations. Very slick, it didn’t hold much dirt at all. I got 0 tangles all day, this line carries its weight VERY well. HIGHLY VISIBLE in blue. Good loops and I was able to set my dry flies down VERY delicately. I’m a beginner and I WILL be buying more expensive line in the future but this line will be a clear regular in my box. It’s the first line I’ve used that I’ve noticed a difference with and I have used some expensive setups already.

There was a little breeze but my hopper layed out pretty nice. There were no fish interested in the hopper but I am happy how it cast.

I'm not even gonna call it cheap, that's all I need to say. Floats, casts, and has way leads memory than the rio mainstream trout lines.

bought the 3w line, lets be honest we are not doing any long distance hero cast with a 3wt. Surprisingly it laid out very well with almost no line memory. Was very surprised as I expected much less from it. Would definitely buy again if i needed another size.

I bought this on a whim after being frustrated with the Rio Avid Trout line I was fishing. Rio is a well respected brand, but the line I put on my Moonlit Lunar 3wt rod just wouldn’t stop curling. I tried stretching it, leaving it out, even tied weights and hung it off a 4 story building. Nothing helped. I figured I’d see what happens with a cheap line, so I bought one of these and also a Piscifun Sword line just to compare. The SF beat both the Rio and the Piscifun. Smooth and accurate casts (off a 3wt fiberglass rod). It consistently laid down straighter and more precisely than the Sword or the Avid and even out of the box, memory was not a problem. I’ve never fished with a $100 fly line, but this certainly seems to punch far above its weight. One caveat: The welded loop is tiny and I really had to force the knot on my leader through it.I’m going to put together a backup rig for my Orvis Clearwater 5wt and you can bet I’ll use SF line again.

I was very skeptical about buying a $20.00 fly line. My other lines cost me at least $100.00 each. I needed a new floating line but could not afford to spend another 100 dollars. All I can say is wow! This line handles is so easy to manage, has a great coating and is very easy to cast. It out performs my other lines that cost me much more.

I do not fish with fly line...I use it as string for items that need a larger hole or a handle. It is more durable and weather resistant than string. Works great at holding up peonies in the garden.

Have not used line yet but has the ‘dry’ characters of more expensive lines.
