When I bought my home, the previous owner lost the keys to the shed, so I picked this up so I can securely lock the shed at night. I was delighted to find out that the entire replacement process took about 3 minutes, and this new one works perfectly with very little adjustment. Having 4 keys is a bonus, however, make sure you hit your lock with some lubricant, or even better some Fluid Film or similar to protect it from corrosion, and keep it working smooth. I live in Michigan, and any steel left outdoors seems to corrode overnight if you don't protect it. I liked this item enough that I immediately bought another for the other door on the shed. Great quality, and easy to install. What more do you need?

This latch set is exactly as described. The finish on all parts is perfect. The lock mechanism in the T-handle looks and feels nicely made, and rotates smoothly with all four keys. Lock rotation is 180 degrees, lock-to-unlock. The T-handle-to-base interface is tight with no wiggle. the two are attached with a star-spring. The shaft is 5/16" square plated steel. The D-handle extension is 2-1/8" on one side and 1-3/8" on the other (shorter) side. The maximum door thickness this will fit is 4-1/2" (shaft inserted about half way into D-handle socket). The maximum door thickness with the shaft FULLY inserted into the D-handle socket is 3-1/2". The D-handle attaches to the shaft with a single set screw, but it holds firmly. The set screw threads are pre-coated with blue lock-tight. The included Allen wrench fits the set screw well. This is a nice latch that is working well, especially at this price point (~$10).

We ordered this Oacdiel brand Locking Shed Door Latch with 4 Keys to replace the damaged one on my mother-in-law's backyard shed.We only remembered the style and that the stem was around 4"-5" long, so this handle with its 4½" and 5½" Stem should fit the bill. The price (at time of ordering) of $9.99 was also very appealing since identical-looking one are selling for more. The latch is very heavy and feels like it is well-made and sturdy. As soon as the weather warms up some, we'll be heading over to install it so the shed can finally be locked again. We don't anticipate having any issues using this latch since, aside from the color, it is a visual match to the original damaged/lost key latch on the shed now.We will update this review after installation with any more pros or cons we should encounter.

This works perfectly. The last lock that I had broke and I have been putting off fixing it. I had just nailed the door shut for the winter. This fit right on where the old one was broken. The whole replacement took less than five minutes. This seems like strong material. I am very satisfied with this product.

We've had a wooden yard shed for at least twenty years. Recently the lock on the unit failed. I was able to get a hasp and padlock to lock it up but it was a temporary fix at best. Then this item caught my eye. This is just what I've been looking for. A lock on the door that uses a key. The lock comes in two sizes but is adjustable. It is a good simple design with few moving parts. I'm glad I found it when I did.
