I've had this vacuum for a couple of years now and am now just getting back to writing a review. I have used this vacuum a lot in the garage and basement and have been very satisfied. I have one of those dog hammocks for the back seat of my car so that I can transport the dog for walks and vet visits. Of course the dog sheds and I periodically have to vacuum the hammock and the inside of the car. The powerful suction makes the job a lot easier. The lightweight unit rolls around quite nicely and I have used both the suction and blower capabilities to periodically clean the garage. I've also used it to clean basement areas and recently used it to clean up residue left after some plumbing work in the bathroom. Since the tools and hose fit conveniently on the vacuum, it's easy to port everything around by the handle. I do recommend using the filter bags on the unit and having an extension cord at hand, since the cord on the vacuum is not very long. Its smaller size makes it easy to store under my work bench in the garage.

I bought this sprecifically to deal with a dog hair issue and it is working great.Vacuum seems sturdy with great suction. I hae vacuumed my whole house now 3 times nad just got done vacuuming my 2 dogs with a pet vroomer and it still has lots of suction power.Here is the review I wrote for the pet grooming since it is the real reason for me buying this.I love this thing! I have 3 dogs. A 103 lb. Great Pyrenees (20 lbs hair), a minuture Australian Shepard (50% hair) and Terrier mix (he has short course hair. Yes I think I am crazy too and all of the hair bout had me in a straight jacket. I attached this to a ShopVac I also bought on Amazon and I sucked the loose hair off my two fluffy dogs like a girlfriend in heat! I have been trying everything to find a solution to all of this hair problem and I have finally done it. The shedding comb pulled out all of the extra hair time after time. Once the comb gets full you push a button that turns the teeth toward the hose and the vacuum sucks ti right in. The upholstery comb worked so much better that the original vacuum tool because it has plastic nubs with open sections between the nubs, that grab the hair but the vacuum suction doesn't cause it to "stick" to the cushions. I am truly giddy with how well this works. I also suggest the Shop Vac too because with this tool and the ShopVac I spent $80. We were using our older shop vaccum (with a different set of hose/tubes vs shop/construction use) in the house because of it's versatility, power, and tank design. Our upright Oreck, which was almost new when passed down to us, hardly came out of the closet as it couldn't tackle the nooks and crannies in an old house nor the staircase..and it didn't work well on the large area rugs for some reason. In looking to purchase a dedicated tank machine just for the home, we came VERY close to getting a European made Soniclean which is quite pricey itself. In order to save $, we had the simple idea of just getting another shop vac to use for the house. ENTER THIS SHOP-VAC which we have been very pleased with for the home with the various attachments we had already purchased. I would have given it a "5 star" rating except for two issues: 1) the snap-on curved attachment bar is very flimsy, sometimes just pops off, and is nothing like the sturdy one on our older shop vac of the same capacity. 2) as with the older one, if you wrap the cord around the attachment holder then add some attachments in the slots, you can't easily take off the cord without removing all of the attachments. To handle the latter issue, I just simply wrap the cord neatly and tuck it under the handle of the vacuum. (That works OK except we try to keep a short, heavy duty extension cord with the vacuum, and they both won't tuck under the handle. OTHERWISE, this little machine glides around easily on carpet or hardwoods (keep the wheels clean though to prevent scratching), helps us get up all of the dog hair, leaves, dust in an old house from vents to 12' ceiling corners, and saved us a lot of money from a fancy machine that really wouldn't do much more! Using the high filtration bags, we are very happy with it as a home vacuum!

Pro- Compact but powerful Full size performance in a manageable size. Wet-Dry. Multiple filter options.Con- Kind of loud. No drain for water.This is my second one. When I saw it on sale I jumped on it. The old one is at least 10 years old and has held up well. We use it to detail our vehicles, around the shop, even picking up spills in the house. Once the AC drain clogged and we had plenty of suction to clear it.The multi filters mean you are not spreading dust, bagging is the best way to go, the main filter stays clean.When detailing a car, you can really use the wet vac on your carpet and cloth seats. We spray distilled water with diluted cleaners, brush, then use the wet vacuum to pull the water out. Seats too. We got a second hose, and added it to the other. So when working on vehicles the canister is able to be out of the way, and not banging up against the car door. Longer hose keeps the noise away from you as well.HIGHLY RECOMMEND ðŸ‘X-5The size is deceiving, it is the perfect size for it's purpose.

Great sturdy little vacuum! Great suction, doesn't have the wide feet (rollers) that get caught on everything.

This is a great industry standard workhorse to get the job done. I bought it primarily for water spills and closing down the hot tub for winter. Size is small but when you're sucking up water you don't want anything more thank 5 gallons to carry around and break your back emptying it.
