I love this thimble. I use it to protect my thumb when knitting. (It gets sore after a lot of use.) It has a small metal tab in the tip that is really good for pushing a needle thru heavy cloth. However, this is the second I've purchased. The first one started to split. I glue it together and it's working fine. I'd but this again, and again, and again.

These leather thimbles are lightweight, offer nice finger protection and have a slit that allows a fingernail to poke through. There is a reinforced area that covers the fingertip & pad of the finger. I bought a set of 3 to use with with needle felting as I sculpt the figures. Easy to slide on & off and still allow my hands to function with no restriction. Mine are a little large, but that is preferable.

Leather is not flexible. It’s not easy to wear thimble for stitching. I put it on for the one or two stitches where extra pressure is needed to push needle through material. It’s better than any other leather thimble I have found except for the older thimbles from Tandy. They were the best but no longer available.

Bought these to push pins into styrofoam balls to make quilted Christmas ornaments. They fit well and stay on without being too tight or coming off. Because they are leather they do not make my finger hot or moist from use. Would definitely recommend for this use and would purchase again if needed.

It's nice and comfortable, plus is much cheaper than clover thimbles. Only issue is that they only come in one size, so I'll need to stitch one side tighter. I like how the metal insert is from the finger tip to halfway down the thimble
