Used with my 5 yr old snowboarding, it took us 2 runs on the bunny hill before we started really progressing, she was carving like a boss by the time end of the day!

Good backpack for a little skier. We didn't end up using the guide strap much because we were going slow enough that kiddo was doing fine without it. It was more used just as a precaution in case she decided to take off (which she never did). The strap length was good, and it fit her well (she's a petite 4yo). If anything, it was just a really good backpack to store extra gloves and hats and snacks in for the little one. It was easy to use and put on so that's a bonus.

This pack is a great fit for my three-year old, and I'm way impressed with the build quality. All the grab handles are sturdy and reinforced and the zippers are solid with huge zipper pulls on them that are great for little hands in gloves. It as plenty of space inside for snacks and other odds and ends, and the ski and helmet carry is very functional.I'm not a huge fan of the single-handed line off the back for keeping their speed under control, but I figured I could just clip on a two-line setup on the waist belt and that is absolutely true (see my pictures). The two straps stow very well in the outer pocket for going up the lift. My daughter loves this thing and is stoked to have a ski pack just like Mom and Dad.

I finally had the opportunity to use this harness and it worked so very well! I used this when helping my 5 yr old daughter learn to downhill ski and it came in handy! If you are a proficient skier yourself, I would recommend NOT using ski poles when you do this, as those just got in the way. This bag was helpful for storing extra gloves and hand warmers and of course, the leash helped me keep her out of the woods :)

This little ski bag with leash makes it so easy to keep kids close on the slopes. My kids knkw the basics but get nervous if they start moving too fast. This pack helps them feel safe and restrained if needed but gives them an easy way to be independent if they want.

A game-changer for teaching kids to ski! The harness and leash provide great control without being restrictive. The backpack feature is handy for carrying small essentials.

Super impressed by this harness, it’s well made and thoughtfully designed with many useful features. It’s helpful to teach skills while keeping them safe and can be used for other sports like skating.QUALITYInstantly it’s obvious it’s high quality. The materials are all really thick, and the straps are leash handle are padded. It’s well stitched and has metal zippers and rings and quality plastic clasps. I’m confident my child will outgrow it before it breaks.FITThe shoulder, waist and chest straps are all adjustable in length and the chest strap is also adjustable in height, ensuring a good tight fit. I like to bundle my 2yr old in a thick coat and most of the straps were extended to 70% which means it may not fit an 8 yr old if they like a thick coat as well.DESIGNIt’s obvious this was designed by someone who knows the sport and is packed with thoughtful features:- Metal O ring on each side and a free moving one at the back giving a range of leash attachments depending on how much you need to assist with carving- Leash is elasticised to provide cushioning but then is supported by rigid straps to prevent it stretching beyond a certain point to provide control.- Handle at the top to help get on chairlifts, and at the rear to help up when they fall down.- Straps at the rear to attach snowboard/skis for easy carrying- Removable netting for carrying a helmetOne downside of this model is it doesn’t include the seat harness that goes through the legs. This makes it a little harder to lift the child by the top strap as the backpack slides up. This same brand does currently sell a model with this harness which may be worth getting particularly if your child needs a lot of help getting on and off the chairliftFINAL THOUGHTSOverall this is a great harness that is well designed and made of high quality materials that should last. It’s very versatile and makes learning easier and safer.

The backpack was made of good quality material, and did its job. My 3.5 year old kept getting tangled in his skis and falling over, and I was able to single-handedly lift him from the handle on the backpack and put him back on his feet. As for the “leash” functionality of it, the leash is a single line with two attachment heads on it that clip to either side of the backpack. I believe this is more beneficial for snowboarders that you don’t need to steer, but if did have a two-leash design I think you would be able to steer a skier (using it like horse reins). The single leash design is fully appropriate for stopping a skier when needed, though. Additionally, it appears that one of backpack strap adjusters should have been stitched the other way around, as a backpack strap slid out of its adjustment buckle once, leaving my kid with just one strap on. When I threaded the adjustment strap back through the buckle and ensured that the elastic “keep-it-clean” band was holding the loose strap end, it did provide enough friction to prevent the strap from releasing back through the buckle. I’m not sure if the backpack strap was designed this way or if I had initially adjusted it poorly, but if it was stitched in the opposite direction I think it would have provided that “bite” to prevent the strap from sliding entirely out of the buckle. Overall, this wasn’t a big issue, so I’ll give this backpack 4 stars.

This harness has been an invaluable teaching tool for my kids. It's like a training wheels for the slopes. The adjustable leash allows me to control their speed and direction, while still giving them the freedom to learn and practice. It's like a gentle, supportive push. The backpack design is comfortable for them to wear, and the harness feels secure and well-made. It's like a confidence booster wrapped in a harness. It's helped them progress quickly and enjoy their time on the snow. If you're looking for a way to teach your kids the fundamentals of skiing or snowboarding, this harness is a great investment.

First impression is that the material seems very high quality. It is beautifully designed, great stitching, the zipper tags are large and bright, making it easy for my 4 year old to zip and unzip pockets. The zippers themselves are great and don't seem to get stuck. There are so many different pockets, making it easy to pack all the things (like little toys and snacks) for my little boy. There are two pairs of belts, one for the waist area and another for the chest, which is a great feature so the bag feels more secure on. It comes with a durable-looking harness and also a helmet cover. While i know it is meant for skiing and snowboarding, I can easily see this as a kid's travel bag. It is a good size and weight and fits securely because of the belt. Great product and something I would recommend!
