Straps hold the brake and are easy enough to put on. Seem solid and durable. Good Velcro. Functions as expected.

I was skeptical of these. I got them because I had a pair of skis to ship and I wanted to retract the brakes for shipping - and I didn't want to give away my SWIX rubber band type ski brake retainers. but I'm glad these came with 6 straps because I think I'm going to use these instead. They are much easier to use than the rubber band type.

If you want to wax, sharpen or do any work on your skis, you need to get the brakes up and out of the way. Most of us use the heavy rubber bands which often break too easily, and sometimes painfully. These do the same thing and are very easy to use, not to mention being long enough to get plenty of leverage on the brake levers.

If you work on your skis get these now.These are so much better than the rubber band style of retainer straps. Look great and hold solidly in place. Other skiers have asked me where I got them.Super happy with the quality and durability of them. Still time to get for a Holiday gift.

Bought these to make it easier to pack skis into ski bags which require the skis to lay flat on their bases. I also bought these to assist in waxing and tuning skis. They hold the brakes out of the way securely. I'm not sure how long they will last, but they seem to be relatively well built. A much better solution than rubber bands.

I use these for travel and they are by far the best solution. I travel with multiple pairs of skis all the time and brake retainers are a must These are the best I have ever used for travel as they are very secure and are easy to put on and off even on very wide skis.

These are actually maybe a bit too long, as the extra length can mis-align the velcro with smaller skis, and there's no way to take up the slack. For example on my 7 year old son's skis, there was maybe an inch of velcro overlap, but luckily since it doesn't need too much pressure to actuate the brake, it worked ok. However, the length does help with releasing the brakes, much simpler than undoing rubber bands.I needed 3 sets anyways, so these were a great value!
