We use one if these to angle the screen on our Structured Light Sensor (SLS) camera during paranormal investigations. The other was used to complete a holder for our FLiR Pro One LT camera and cell phone; (They aren't known to stay in your phone so well...) Well made and handy!J. the ball head fits a standard 1/4-20 thread tripod screw. It's versatile and worked for what I needed. My only complaints are that the screw wheel that would tighten against the bottom of the camera has smooth sides and is hard to turn if you have gloves on or your hands are sweaty. Also, the tightening knob will hit whatever the ball head is mounted to when the knob approaches being vertical. Roughing the screw wheel lightly with sandpaper gave it enough texture to grab easily. Shortening the knob a little makes it clear whatever the ball head is on.

Using there product for underwater lighting system for photo rack Had to pack ball joint with silicone grease . Don't know if the ball is just chrome steel or if its stainless steel time will tell? It may just fizzle away with electrolysis but the price was right for my test project

This is exactly what I needed. I have a tripod for my web cam and it wouldn't give the right height. I it was just a bit too short and i looking for something to give me that extra boost...just a bit more. And So I found these. I was hesitant but for the price I was willing to give it try. It was the best choice because this are maybe 2 inches long or about is that what my tripod needed. Thanks guys...the pieces are solid and look professional

It holds as it was made for but to easily falls apart need to be really careful not to lose parts from it.

I was in need of a ball head adapter for more versatility for my overhead filming and these did NOT disappoint!! I’d read reviews about them not being sturdy and breaking easily so I decided to get two so that I’d have a backup in case one broke! They’re very heavy and sturdy! Easy to tighten and overall I’m very satisfied with them!!

I used this with my Fabulight to change the angle of the light to give me more lighting. It worked so good with the Fabulight I don’t need a second Fabulight
