Your cart is empty.This Patient Alert system includes a Caregiver Pager that will receive a signal from the Floor Pressure Mat once pressure has been applied to the mat. The pressure sensing floor mat can be placed next to the patient's bed or by an exit door. The weight sensing floor mat sends a signal to the pager up to 300 feet away (depending on the setting), giving the caregiver peace of mind that they can tend to other tasks while being alerted of a potential fall or wandering risk before an event occurs. The caregiver pager alerts with the caregiver to prevent patients from being startled. Pager requires two AA batteries (not included). Floor mat and caregiver pager system comes with a 1-year warranty.

No complaints. This is a great product, does what it says it will do.My floor pad has lasted 1 1/2 years without needing a battery replacement.The product does not come with a user service manual. I had to figure this out on my own. I hope this review will save others the time it took me to figure this out. With the right information it is very easy to change the battery.There is an issue changing the battery in the floor mat.The floor mat pressure pad has a sending unit inside a velcro pouch at one long end of mat.The sending unit requires a specialty security driver to open it.This security driver is triangle shaped. The correct driver bit is "S2 TA18" (They sell these on Amazon)Once you have opened the outer case you will need a small Phillips driver to access the battery. (Sold on Amazon.)The corect battery is a Button Battery CR2477. This unit requires 2 batteries, (sold on Amazon.)

My husband has Alzheimer’s and one night he got up and went outside with his walker down the ramp and walked back up without it into the house. I immediately got safety locks for the doors and ordered this mat to know when he was walking and didn’t want him to go up the stairs. It is so nice to know that I am immediately aware when he decides to take a walk during the night. No episodes since but now I know I am ready for his safety.it is nice to know I don’t have to plug it in and I can take it up every morning (so he doesn’t see it)

The distance from floor mat to pager is very poor , also no loud enough.
