I wasn't sure about the tracker but decided to give it a try. I Love It!! This is so easy to setup and add to your dog's collar or vest. You can use it for really anything you want and need to track. The instructions are extremely easy to follow and setup. The best part is you connect it to the app without the continuous monthly fees. I've used it on my dog for several months now and have yet to turn it off, the battery is still going strong. It's held up to her splashing in the ocean and caught in rain storms, as well as, wrestling with other dogs during play time.The app alerts me by the settings I chose, when connecting it, when she is left behind (purposely has to stay home) or when one of my kids leaves the house with her. So I love that I get the alert regardless. In testing it on a hike at a friends farm, it let me right to her with no issues and on point. Granted, I had service the whole time so it may depend on where you are at as I have not tested it in that type of situation and probably won't. However, in general, I love how easily it tracks her no matter where I am at and can see where she is with a click. Even when I was over 1,000 miles away on vacation a while back, I got the alert she left the house and it was one of my kids taking her for a walk.I find it to be a great tool to have and use for your dog or whatever you want to use it for, as my daughter got one for her bag after seeing how great it works with our dog.Absolutely recommend,

The actual device is a black disc like in the description photos. I was having the hardest time getting it turned on because I couldn't find the ON button. I did eventually find it, it is like the size of a pin-head, I wasn't even sure if my fingernail could push it, but I heard the chime which indicates that it is on. Once it was on, I slipped it into the white silicone sleeve, then pushed that into the pink silicone holder. And put the whole thing through my dog's harness strap. You add it to the + Items section of the iphone Find My app. Love it works great!

Every foster dog I have ever had has been a huge flight risk. These animals are terrified and all they want to do is find their previous owner. They will dig out of yards and dash out of doors so they can start their search. So far, I have been lucky, and I haven't had one escape. But others in my foster group have had dogs slip away from them. Then it is a panicked all hands-on deck as we scour neighborhoods and rely on the kindness of strangers to alert us to possible sightings. Sometimes we never find them. And that is heartbreaking. The scenario repeats itself when my foster dogs are adopted. They are in a strange new place, and they just want to get back to me. I warn all of my adopters about this behavior and caution them about how to prevent escapes. Now this little gadget has set my mind at ease. Not only will I be using it on all of my foster dogs, I also plan to recommend it to all of my iphone using adopters.Set up was super easy in Find My app. Having a bit of trouble with the sharing function but that may be an Apple issue. I like this so much I got two.

I got this for that “just in caseâ€. My dogs are chipped, wear identifying tags on their collars, but if they somehow couldn’t be located, these are great. Works perfectly with Find My in iOS. Yes, you must have some type of Apple device running Find My to use these, but the best feature is you aren’t paying for any additional service , or hoping someone finds them before they’re hurt or taken. You can find them yourself now right from the app. Works great, and easy setup. The instructions could be in a bit larger font. You might need a magnifying glass like me to read them. Fits a normal width collar easily. Definitely recommend, especially for the peace of mind.

I got a black and a pink one to use for my two dogs. I also have real Apple AirTags that I use on my keys so I have some experience with the “real†thing compared to these off brand ones. These paired the same as my Apple AirTag does, set up took less than 1 minute. The instructions explain but you basically just hold down the on button until you hear a beep and connect to your “find my†app. I like the holder that goes onto your dogs collar, it feels secure and even with dogs playing rough I don’t think it could possibly fall out. Although these are nice, I wouldn’t recommend these for everyone. These tags (along with real AirTags) require them to be within Bluetooth distance of an iPhone. If you live in a well populated city where houses are closer together, this shouldn’t be an issue. I live in a neighborhood where houses are further from the road and far apart. If my dog gets out with these, it won’t be the most accurate tracking due to connectivity.With that being said, there aren’t many dog trackers out there that don’t rely on Bluetooth connectivity. There is one popular brand if you search “gps dog tracker†and it’s a little more expensive. I believe it also requires a subscription because it relies on phone towers to track it. It’s also bulky and probably wouldn’t work great for small dogs.Overall I think this product will work for the majority of people and I would recommend it.
