I've been using this device for about six months and it has proven to be highly reliable, alerting me several times when needed. It's truly worth every penny. The battery consumption is impressively low; after six months, the original three AAA batteries are still performing well. The device spends most of its time in sleep mode to conserve energy, but it quickly wakes up to send alerts when necessary. Note that a stable WiFi network is crucial for optimal performance, as poor connectivity can lead to extended activity and quicker battery drain. Fortunately, my WiFi is stable most of the time, so I haven't experienced the battery issues mentioned by some. The customer support team deserves special praise—they've been quick to respond and incredibly detailed in their assistance every time I reached out. The setup process is straightforward and quick. I highly recommend this device for its excellent functionality and support!

This is such a great little product. The float sensor is small and light. I purchased an adapter to mount it on the outflow pipe. Instructions are clear and the setup using my phone was clear and easy. And it works great, notifying me within seconds of the sensor tripping, and resetting itself. I’ve had terrible luck with other alarm systems, but I really like the design of this one, and the way it sends alerts and emails to us. Highly recommended.

I got this to alert me when my well water holding tank level drops. It works great, sends a text and email as soon as the float sensor isn’t floating. I had a bit of trouble setting it up (I didn’t read the instructions fully) but the support team was very responsive and helped me out right away. The WiFi receiver is strong (my outdoor wifi repeater is a few hundred feet away, and there’s a metal building in the way but it still works). If you want a simple, reliable device with great customer service when needed, get this one.

Pro: Good quality metal float. Wiring and device also very sturdy. My Starlink 2.4 GHz connected with great signal. I did split off the network from my 5.0 GHz to give the device its required 2.4, it's easy on Starlink application.Runs on batteries, has WiFi,no electric involved.Notifications are emailed or text to you if Wifi is down, or batteries are low and when your water level is low or high.RisingLink is very proactive in making sure the system is installed and running correctly.I needed to run my wire thru a very small space thru the inside of my cistern pipe cap so the cap could shut securely. I removed the 2 wires from inside the unit so I could feed them thru, then easily reconnected them to unit. Worked great. See pics.Con: None. I do hope the next model would have an application to check in on it. While I'm wishing would really like to have a gauge in the App to see the approximate water level at any given time. It would really help with water delivery planning for those who live very remote. If that idea would require electric at the device site, an extension cord could be an option.

Setting up the device was straightforward, taking just a few minutes to complete. The stainless steel float sensor was also simple to install. The user manual is detailed and user-friendly, making it a worthwhile read for optimal use of the product. Two standout features of this device have impressed me the most:1. Reliable Wi-Fi Connectivity: Thanks to its external omni-directional antenna, the device ensures robust Wi-Fi signals. This is a significant advantage, as it remains connected in spots where my other smart gadgets struggle.2. Intelligent Notification System: Not only does it alert me to low water levels (it can be set for high level alerts too), but it also notifies me when the levels return to normal — a thoughtful feature that provides an additional layer of reassurance that I haven't found in other brands.Throughout our extensive testing, the device consistently delivered timely alerts to our two registered phones and two email addresses. Additionally, the customer support experience was excellent; my inquiries received immediate and helpful responses. I Highly recommend it!!

This product has all the right features. It's battery-driven BUT it sounds you an alert when batteries are low. It relies on WiFi, but sends you a different alert if the WiFi is not working. Above all: RisingLink provides some of the best, more responsive customer service I have ever encountered. I had problems getting this connected to my WiFi network, and they stayed with me, step by step, until we got it working. (And, by the way, they were clear that they'd give me a full refund if I couldn't get the device connected.) A remarkable level of service!!!

Purchased this to know when my creek and pond level needed to be topped off.Setup was fairly straightforward. I did initially configure this device to email a Gmail account. However, Gmail wasn’t able to forward to IFTTT for automation, due to lack of authentication on the IFTTT receiving address.Used an Apple account instead, forwarding the Risinglink email to IFTTT, which then calls my Rachio irrigation system to run the zone designated to fill the pond and creek. What’s nice is the second email that Risinglink sends to let me know the low water alert has been resolved.I’m considering a second unit set lower in the skimmer to alert me when the water is critically low. Potentially saving an expense pump replacement.

I was going thru 3 AAA batteries a week even though I show very good wifi signal next to the product. I threw it away and replaced it with a plug in monitor with battery backup.

Cada vez que se corta la luz (lo cual es frecuente), tengo que subir al techo y hacer un reinicio completo para conectarme nuevamente al WiFi. ¡Producto inútil para mÃ!
