A good value for the money. They were very easy to install. Alarms function as expected. Seems to be built of good quality. Can not comment on battery life yet as I just recently installed them, however I will replace the batteries at every time change as recommended by local fire regulations. They do not make any noise.

These are a great price and work fine. The one issue I have is that if you use the sticky pads to put it on the wall you would eventually have to buy some other double sided tape when you have to change the batteries because the batteries are house in the back where the tape is.

I had to request a refund, because the back of the smoke alarm would not aline with the alarm to be able to close, so it could not connect for the battery to do its job. The red light would not turn on. I tried 2 of them it would not work. Customer Service had not problem refunding to original payment. Thank You Amazon.

I ordered this set of smoke detectors to install as back-ups to our (main) hardwired smoke detectors and placed them in bedrooms. I like that they use AA batteries instead of 9V batteries, as I have plenty of the former and they are inexpensive. These smoke detectors are small, white, and have a loud alarm. I have not had the need yet to replace the batteries (no batteries are included). The detectors have photoelectric sensors, which I trust more than the ionization type. We'll see how long they last but for the price they represent a good value.

These Smoke Detectors are easy to install ! The smoke detector comes with both screws and adhesive brackets, so you have options depending on where you want to place it. I opted for the screw-mounted installation, and it was done in a few minutes. The unit isn’t hardwired, so I could place it wherever I felt it would be most effective. It was so simple to set up that I didn’t need any professional help, and it works perfectly right out of the box. and Before installing, I tested the unit, and it was very easy to check the functionality by simply pressing the button. The unit quickly alerted me that everything was working properly. I also appreciate that when the battery runs low, the smoke detector sounds a low battery alarm, so I never have to worry about being unprepared.

I grabbed these to replace some ancient ones my home had that were yellowed by time and of questionable functionality. These are awesome for the job. They are significantly smaller than other detectors I've seen so you may have to do some painting where the old ones were but these are sharp. These also come with an adhesive back so you can just attach them up there without the need for new drilling so if you're not sure what's above where you're drilling (and who knows on some older homes sometimes) you can just stick it up and it seems to be holding well so far. Also a four pack at this price is a fantastic value. If you are looking for a smaller sleek way to make sure you know if a fire is happening these are great.
