This is WONDERFUL product. It's obviously adorable, but it's comfortable for my cat. He is around 9 pounds, with minimal fur around his neck, and the Medium fit him fine. It has strong velcro to hold it in place. He has an issue biting his fur to the point of causing skin issues and infection on his body, mainly his tail and hind quarters, and this helps tremendously. When put out so he looks like a little flower, he can't quite reach his legs without difficulty. but his tail is the main problem. He adjusted easily to continuous use since it's comfortable for him to simple rest his head on it like a pillow, but firm enough to hold its shape. The flower "petals" offer points where his peripheral vision isn't completely obstructed like other cones. It is padded around the firm shape, so when he drinks water from the bowl it gets damp but dries rapidly since the moisture evenly distributes and doesn't get musty (air dries quickly). I will be buying more of these so as to clean them and provide more choices and more cuteness. I would definitely recommend this product.

Our Shih Tzu recently had surgery on his right hind leg and it was critical to recovery that h doesn’t lick or bite at the incision site once the bandage was removed, 4 days post op. The hospital had put him in a high plastic cone in which he can neither eat or drink. We changed to our inflatable neck pillow cone but it could almost reach the leg in spite of his short face, so after much research, we settled on this cone. We have it only 4 days but so far it has been a life saver. What do we like about it: it’s very light weight, the part that touches the neck isn’t nearly as sharp as that of the typical plastic cones, it has very strong and wide velcro closure (rather than the awkward closure of many plastic cones) so it stays in place. It can be made flatter or more cone shaped as it’s made of multiple panels that can be somewhat oriented, it’s soft material that you can clean easily. Also because of the multiple panels, it folds into a relatively small size for storing or traveling. The 4.5 in depth makes it ideal for any short snout canine breed. Finally, our dog is able to sleep, eat and drink when wearing the cone, and of course, to give us dirty looks because he knows it’s sold for cats.

We ordered this cone to help stop our kitty from licking a wound, and it’s worked very well!The design is cute, the Velcro makes it really easy for us to put the cone on (but it still stays super secure), and our cat is able to comfortable eat, drink, sleep, and move around with the cone on.When we’ve shared photos of our cat with the cone, we’ve also gotten lots of compliments on the cool space pattern. 5/5 âï¸

My cat hated the cone from the vet when she was spayed. She was miserable. I had to find another option. This worked so much better. She was comfortable in it- still not happy but she at least fell asleep. I actuslly flipped this away from her head which still prevented licking and didn’t block her peripheral.She looked so cute. It was so easy to put on. However the velcro could have been a bit more sturdy. Highly recommend this for any animal that needs to wear the cone of shame.

This is a great “cone of shame!†My cat is 16-17lbs and licks excessively sometimes when he’s bored, creating bald spots. This “cone†is adjustable due to plenty of Velcro and fits him well as securely. I was even able to use it for my 16lb dog when he had a boo-boo he wouldn’t leave alone. The cone angles backwards, away from the face, but is just big enough to prevent pets from reaching and licking boo-boos. It doesn’t limit their field of view and is light and soft. After a few seconds of having it on, it seemed like they pretty much forgot it was there.

My cat was able to slip out of it as she got more active. the first few days after spaying though she was calm and kept it on. Helped her a lot. The one the vet sent just seemed much more uncomfortable for her

My male cat needed neutered and they wanted $25 for a hard plastic generic collar. I found this collar and was a lot cheaper than the collar in the vet’s estimate and a lot cuter so I ordered it. It is soft and flexible and worked well. He had a little trouble eating & drinking with it turned outward (it would get wet) so when time for him to eat, I would flip it inwards. He had no trouble eating, drinking, and sleeping with it flipped inwards and it still kept him from trying to lick his surgical area. After one day, I just kept it that direction because he seemed to have a little more freedom and didn’t seem to bother him as much. It is a little heavy and so he hung his head down while wearing it when turned outward. He was 6 months old and this collar adjusted down to his size and would also work on an adult cat. The velcro is strong stayed closed even when he tried with all his strength to get it off.

My older cat has become a compulsive groomer. He has licked most of the fur off his belly and hind legs. I ordered this collar to stop him from licking and to give the fur a chance to grow back. The medium size collar fits well around his neck, but he can still reach the fur on the lower part of his belly and hind legs. The large size collar stops him from licking his belly, but hangs loose around his neck. He doesn't like wearing either of them, so now I put one on him only when the compulsive grooming becomes extreme. Even with size adjustments there will still be the disadvantage of blocking his peripheral vision, which must be weighed against the positive benefits of softness, flexability, and being able to flip from concave to convex for purposes of eating and drinking.

Muy buena calidad, en mi caso el grande era demasiado grande, el mediano lo tuve que ajustar para que no le apretara el cuello, lo que se hace muy fácil ya que el velcro es muy fuerte. Mi gatita hace de todo sin problemas, está muy cómoda con el collar puesto. Una excelente compra! Mi gatita y yo lo amamos 💕

This cone is great. When Sam wears those plastic cones from the vet, all she does mope and sleep. She hates it. This cone, she walks around and plays. She is much happier with this cone. 5 star for sure. She is still able to lick her back paws, but can’t get to those sore spots on her front legs.
