Excellent soldering station works great has several tips solder sucker tweezers handy assist arms Phillips screw driver wrench to tighten arms, which acutely work great. I see people complaining about how the arms come loose you just have to tighten them that's what the wrench is for. I love it great product at an excellent price I highly recommend it.

The thing itself works alright. Poor design with regards to the clip arm placement. Although anyone soldering things can most likely rig something up to make them usable.

Wow, why didn't I buy one of these sooner. I saw people complaining about the flexible arms coming loose, not a problem if you learn how to tighten things. This little solder station heat up fast, solders great and makes me wonder why I have been using my old Weller for so long

Great little station for most little projects, would be cool if it came with a solder wick but for the price I'm happy and they have a good selection of colors too!

Overall, this is okay. There is nothing all our wrong with it, but there are some definite pluses and minuses.Pros:-This baby gets hot so quickly, I am very impressed!-The cord is long and very flexible. It's not firm plastic, it's a softer more flexible plastic than other cords.-You get multiple tips and there is a metal sleeve that holds them in place. -The tip is not threaded, the sleeve is. So the tip will not loosen as you work. -The tip is hollow and the heating core goes inside the tip. It gets HOT and stays hot.-Unit can be set to C/F.-Unit has an auto shut-off function.-Unit has built in sponge holder beneath the iron.-Adjusting the temperature is easy with the +/- buttons.Cons:-It's light, so it can slide around so it is prone to moving while you work as you pull the cord or set the iron in the holder.-Mine did not come with the screws to attach the solder roll holder attachment to the top.-The Helping-Hands don't stay put. -They both screw in clock-wise, so as you pull the left one toward you it holds tight. -The right arm will loosen as you pull it toward you, so it loosens. -One of my arms holds any shape want (e.g.: an S or L bend) the other will not cooperate at the base.-When the iron is in the holder the tip of the iron protrudes approximately 1/4" behold the base. -It is still nearly 3/4" above the table top, just be careful nothing is behind the unit while it is hot.-Switching F/C is not straight forward, but is explained in the booklet.-Programming is not intuitive, but is described in the instructions. Don't lose the instructions. The edge of the sponge tray was higher than the plastic base when I received the unit. It was sharp and I couldn't get it to stay down. The other day I was pressing on it again and it snapped into place. It took a little effort, but I was able to press it down further this time and now it is below the plastic and there is no risk of being cut on the edge. It really is a sharp edge, but there is no problem at all now that it is in place. A man could most likely have popped it into place the first try. My hands are small so I have a bit less leverage than some. When I was unpacking this I felt like it was lacking organization. I think part of that is due to the fact that mine was missing the screws that attach the solder roll holder, but honestly, the unit is so light that I would never use it with the solder on there. It would be nice to store it there though. There is no where to store the accessories. I would give it 5 stars if there were some sort of little bin or pencil-holder type slots for the attachments. Of course, if these were included they would have to be heat resistant or people would melt the housing of their unit. So, for the price point this is excellent. If it were better for the price I would be amazed. My biggest complaint for the price point is that the helping hands are not all that helpful and mine was missing screws. If you need a soldering iron and want more than a basic hand-held unit without paying a ton, this is great.

Initially, I thought that this set was a great buy. After using it once, I noticed that the tips did not fully tighten though, and would spin in the end of the iron. The second time I used it, the iron completely snapped in half, causing me to burn my forearm with a 400°C soldering iron. Not a great feeling. I'm awaiting a response from Amazon/the seller. My advice is to skip this set and look for a better quality (more expensive) iron kit. If this is what you can afford, either save more, or go to Harbor Freight with a coupon. You'll get a better quality soldering iron, and if anything happens to it, they'll take it back and give you a new one.
