The sound quality and functionality of this recorder is as it states for its useful purposes. I purchased this after finding recording tapes my Mom had in her belongings after she passed. I was so happy that I bought this recorder because now I can cherish hearing my Mom and my Dad's voice. It's worth the purchase price. Quality of sound is very clear. The functions are easy to use.

Disappointed!! Not at all what was represented in picture and play back audio is terrible! I want a refund.

well i was picturing a new recorder with 8 tapes... I did not get that. misleading showing picture advertised even though description was correct. product was used and 1 tape that came with it was short.

All the buttons work up until this point. Have not tried to record yet though. I got it mainly for listening though.
